Tournament entry requires registration through AES beginning July 1 2023. OVR teams will have their team code transferred to the OVR tournament information. Out of region teams will have their team name and code transferred as well. Team acceptance is based on AES entry and received entry fee (date/time.)

Please note that teams will be accepted in the order that payment is received. Team withdrawal causes loss of the entry fee unless a fully paid replacement team is entered.

Team entry fees ($470) can be paid with a check or through AES. If paying through AES, there will be a non-refundable 3% processing fee added to the entry fee. Tournament entry fees paid with a check will be deposited two weeks before the tournament. If by check, please send a separate check for each OVR tournament that you have teams entered. Not a separate check per team, just per event.

Spectator admission: $10 per day for all individuals 19 years and older. Admission tickets can be purchased the day of the tournament. Cash or card is accepted.

Bleacher seating provided. Please do not bring chairs into the building. Bleacher cushions OK.

Work Team Procedures: Teams will have to supply a down official, 2 line judges, an official scorer, a Libero tracker and score flipper for the matches they are required to officiate. A coach must be present at the Scorer’s table. Please have the work team available court side at the coin toss for the next match. Each work team is to provide a whistle for the down official, pens and pencils for score table duties. At the completion of the match, please remove all pens and pencils. Be sure the coaches pickup their lineup sheets. Teams are responsible for clean-up of their bench area. The court official and /or Tournament assistants will be responsible for any match papers.

Coaches Meeting: There will not be a coaches' meeting prior to the start of the tournament. This tournament will not use AES rosters. OVR Coaches will verify team rosters online at the OVR website. If a change needs to be made to the roster, a coach can provide an updated roster when they check-in Saturday, the first day of the tournament. Upon check-in, wrist bands will be given to coaches and their staff. Roster changes cannot be made once a team starts their first match. The use of AES providing the schedule means a tournament handout to coaches is not necessary.

Out of region teams need to submit your Region's approved entry form or OVR Tournament Entry form

First wave will consist of 13R, 15R, 17R teams
Second wave will consist of 14R, 16R, 18R teams

Time Schedule: Door opens at 7:00AM. Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday first wave check-in begins at 7AM. Pool play starts at 8AM.
Sunday doors open 7AM. Bracket play starts at 8AM.

Saturday second wave check-in begins at 2PM. Pool play starts at 3PM.
Sunday doors open 7AM. Various starting times.

Second wave starting times can/will be adjusted due to previous teams still playing on a court.
Exception: 16 Copper will play 8AM Sunday

Pool Play Procedures for 3 team pools: 2 rounds of 3-team pools on Saturday. Results from the 2nd pool places teams in their tournament brackets for Sunday. Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) Teams will play on the same court side for each set of a match.

13R – 21 teams
Saturday: Courts 1-7 @ 8am
Round 1 - 3-team pools
Round 2 - From Round 1 results, all 1st place teams and top 5 2nd place teams overall go to Pools AA-DD.
Remaining 2nd place teams and all 3rd place teams go to Pools EE-GG
Sunday: Courts 3 - 8 @ 8am
1st in Pools AA-DD go to Gold bracket on Court 3.
2nd in Pools AA-DD go to Silver bracket on Court 4.
3rd in Pools AA-DD go to Bronze bracket on Court 5.
1st in Pools EE-GG go to Copper Pool on Court 6.
2nd in Pools EE-GG go to Nickel Pool on Court 7.
3rd in Pools EE-GG go to Platinum Pool on Court 8.

15R – 18 teams
Saturday: Courts 15-20 @ 8am
Round 1 - 3-team pools
Round 2 - 1st & 2nd in Round 1 go to Pools AA-DD, 3rd go to Pools EE-FF
Sunday: Courts 16-20 @ 8am
1st in Pools AA-DD go to Gold bracket on Court 18.
2nd in Pools AA-DD go to Silver bracket on Court 19.
3rd in Pools AA-DD go to Bronze bracket on Court 20.
Pools EE-FF go to Copper bracket on Courts 16-17.

17R – 18 teams
Saturday: Courts 9-14 @ 8am
Round 1 - 3-team pools.
Round 2 - 1st & 2nd in Round 1 go to Pools AA-DD, 3rd go to Pools EE-FF.
Sunday: Courts 1-2 & 13-15 @ 8am
1st in Pools AA-DD go to Gold bracket on Court 15.
2nd in Pools AA-DD go to Silver bracket on Court 13.
3rd in Pools AA-DD go to Bronze bracket on Court 14.
Pools EE-FF to Copper bracket on Courts 1-2.

Pool Play Procedures for 4 team pools:
Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) Teams will play on the same court side for each set of a match. Any 3-team pools will play a best of 5 or crossover matches with an adjoining 3-team pool.

14R – 27 teams
Saturday: Courts 8-14 @ 3pm
Pools A through F are 4-team pools, Pool G is 3-team pool (best of 5).
After first round, 1st, 2nd, & 2 best 3rd place teams to single challenge matches. Courts 9-12.
Remaining 3rd & 3 best 4th place teams to Bronze Seeding matches. Courts 13-14.
Remaining 4th place teams play in Copper Pool on Sunday.
Sunday: Courts 9-12 @ 11am or 12pm
Winners of Challenge matches go to Gold bracket. Courts 9-10 @ 11am.
Losers of Challenge matches to Silver bracket. Courts 11-12 @ 11am.
All teams in the Bronze Seeding to Bronze bracket. Courts 13-14 @ 12pm.
Remaining 4th place teams to Copper Pool on Court 5 @ 12pm (3 sets to 25).

16R – 21 teams
Saturday: Courts 15-20 Saturday @ 3pm
Pools A-C are 4-team pools, Pool D-F are 3-team pools (best of 5).
1st go to Gold bracket pools on Court 15, first match of pool played on Saturday.
2nd go to Silver bracket pools on Court 16, first match of pool played on Saturday.
3rd go to Bronze bracket pools on Court 17, first match of pool played on Saturday.
4th go to the Copper pool on Sunday.
Sunday: Court 12 @ 8am and Courts 15-20 @ 12pm
Remainder of Gold bracket pools completed on Courts 15-16 @ 12pm.
Remainder of Silver bracket pools completed on Courts 17-18 @ 12pm.
Remainder of Bronze bracket pools completed on Courts 19-20 @ 12pm.
Copper pool on Court 12 @ 8am (3 sets to 25).

Saturday: Courts 1-7 @ 3pm
Pools A-D are 4-team pools, Pools E-F-G are 3-team pools; best of 5.
1st, 2nd, and two best 3rd place teams to G/S Challenge matches on Courts 1-4 @ 9pm.
Remaining teams re-pooled for a second round on Saturday on courts 5-6-7 @ 9PM.

Play first two matches on Saturday. Remaining match at 11AM Sunday courts 6-7-8.

Sunday: Courts 1-4  Gold and Silver brackets @ 12pm 
Winner of Challenge to Gold bracket on Courts 1-2 @ 12pm.
Loser of Challenge to Silver bracket on Courts 3-4 @ 12pm.
