print out the Roster for Tournament Check-In and write the additions and
submit to Tournament Director / Site Director when you arrive at the tournament.

We do have 12 teams for this weekend and will be using the standard OVR 12 team two day challenge format which can be viewed at the following link:

This format is probably a little different than you are used to. We will be having two 6 team pools. Those pools are as follows:

Pool A:

Infinity 13 White (A1)

MVP - 13 Black (A2)

Kokoro Jrs - 13 White (A3)

Penn-Ohio (A4)

Apex - Munoz (A5)

Apex - Witherow (A6)

Pool B:

Apex - Rogers (B1)

Kokoro Jrs - 13 Teal (B2)

MVP - 13 Green (B3)

MVP - 13 Yellow (B4)

Erie Sports Center (B5)

Adrenaline Volleyball Club (B6)

You'll notice in parentheses your team seed in your pool and when comparing that to the format that I linked above you can figure out your schedule for pool play. For example, the schedule for B3 is:

Please note in the bracket that the first loser of the bracket will have a consolation match so that each team is guaranteed at least 3 matches on Sunday.

Checks should be mailed by January 15, 2024. Non-OVR teams need to submit a tournament entry form with their entry fee checks.

Doors open at 7:30 am. Coaches' meeting is at 8:00 am on Court 1, Saturday only. Play begins at 8:30am.

Bleacher seating is provided. No outside chairs allowed.

Courts 1 and 2 will be to your left as you enter the gym, and camping for those courts will be beyond court 1.

Courts 3 and 4 will be to the right as you enter the gym, and camping for those courts will be beyond court 4.

I'm sorry if this next part is confusing . . . The address is 1098 N Ellsworth Ave. Salem, OH 44460, but there are two buildings and two entrances. You'll want the Salem CenterPlex entrance, not the Salem Community Center entrance. The CenterPlex entrance is closer to 10th Street, whereas the Community Center entrance is closer to 12th Street.

If we run out of parking at the CenterPlex, you can park at the Community Center, and there is a sidewalk over to the CenterPlex.

Assuming four team pools, we will use normal OVR tournament playing pools and brackets.

Outside food is not allowed into the facility. Salem Community CenterPlex will be hosting a concession stand for participants and spectators. The concession stand will be cash or check only. We will have tournament shirts available for purchase as well.

Spectator entry fee is $5 and this must be paid via cash only.

Personal coolers must be left in your vehicles.
