Tournament Information

Teams may enter V5 Volleyball Club tournaments by sending an
entry
fee ($190), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and address
by January 15th, 2018.

Enclose a check for $190 made payable to V5 Volleyball Club by
1/15/18.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  Team rosters
will
be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  A
coaches' meeting at 8:00 AM at the playing site will take place
prior to the start of the tournament.  The tournament starts at
8:30 AM Sharp.  Pool pay is the best of
three sets with rally scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to
25 points with a minimum two-point advantage(no scoring cap). 
The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum
two point advantage(no scoring cap).  All warm-ups will use the
2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team,
4-minutes Serve Receiving team.  Teams may request the referee to
tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

Prizes will be awarded for Gold Division Winners.

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked
within their pools based on match
percentage first. 

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 7:30 AM, team camps will be permitted in
the assigned area only.  No teams will be allowed to camp outside
of
these designated areas.  

FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES the camping area is restricted to players,
officials and OVR/USVA registered individuals. Ball Handling and
Horse Play in the camping area is not permitted. Camping area is
restricted to players, officials and OVR/USVA registered
individuals.

CONCESSIONS
There will be a concession stand, please plan accordingly. 
Individual portions are allowed in a
player's bag.  

Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. 

Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff,
fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned
events.

Please NO TEAM BUFFETS.  Team buffets will be confiscated if
found.

COOLERS AND FOOD
Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or
cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents
are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. Tournament directors and
site managers do not have the discretion to grant permission.

Tournament directors can permit teams to bring food into a
designated area of the tournament facility. Some facilities do not
permit outside food to be brought in to a tournament site. This is
also allowed and will be enforced.

If a club does not comply amicably with a tournament director's or
site director's request, an Incident Report will be sent to Bob
Price, OVR Commissioner, resulting in up to a $250 fine and a
team/club suspension.

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2018

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found.  A
team canceling from this tournament to enter a different
tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Morrow County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will
be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice
will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 5
days of the cancellation.
