Tournament Information

Teams may enter tournaments at Adena High School by sending an
entry fee ($200), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and
address by January 15th, 2018.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  Team rosters
will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT,Safesport and
Concussion certified. Coaches who do have have completed
certifications will 
not be allowed to coach per OVR Rules.

Doors open at 8:00 a.m.  A coaches' meeting at 8:30 AM on court
Play begins at 9:00 a.m.
Pool pLay is the best of three sets with rally scoring.  Each
non-deciding set
will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage(no scoring
The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum
two point advantage(no scoring cap).  All warm-ups will use the
2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team,
4-minutes Serve Receving team.  Teams may request the referee to
tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

Tee Shirts will be awarded for Gold Winners and Gold Runners Up.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool

1st and 2nd place teams and the 2 best 3rd place teams in pool
play will advance to the gold tournament.
The remaining 3rd place team and 4th place teams will play in the
silver tournament.

Doors to the playing site will not be unlocked until 8:00 a.m.
There will be a designated area for team camps. 

Coolers and food: Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers (including
soft sided) are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting
OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams
or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited
at OVR-sanctioned events. 

A full concession with reasonable prices and many choices will be
provided at the
tournament site.   The Gatti Pizza truck will be available from
11:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Concession items will include:  Chicken and Noodles, Hot Chicken
Sandwiches, Hot dogs, Sloppy Joe, Pretzels, Nachos, Taco in a Bag,
Bagels, Baked Goods, Fruit tray, Veggie tray among other things.

Bleacher seating is available in both gyms.   Chairs are not
permitted on the gym floors.

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee
if a repacement is found.  A team canceling from this tournament
to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Ross County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be cancelled.  For any reason the tournament is cancelled, a
notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.
