Tournament Information

Teams may enter tournaments by sending an entry fee ($450) and team 11 digit ID#.

There will be a guarantee of 4 matches or their equivalent; 1 round of pool play and single elimination tournament bracket.

Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament. Please make sure all players and adults on your roster are registered and have the proper certifications.

A coaches’ meeting at AM at the playing site will take place prior to the start of the tournament. The tournament starts at 9:00 A.M. sharp.

4-team pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. 3-team pool play is the best of five sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap.)

No outside seating is allowed in the building. Cedar Point Sports Complex provides plenty of seating for spectators. If you have "bleacher seating" a seat that sits on top of a bleacher with back support, those are allowed! Only those teams currently playing in a match are permitted on the gymnasium floor.

Admission for Spectators: Daily: $8 a day.

Spectators: 7 spectators per team will be allowed. Coaches will receive a code so parents can purchase tickets.

Facial Coverings: Spectators must wear a facial covering at all times. Masks are Mandatory the entire time you are in the facility! No exceptions! Only players actively participating in a match may not wear a facial covering.  Coaches and scorekeepers must wear a facial covering at all times. Anyone with a facial covering health exemption will be allowed to attend without wearing a facial covering but will be asked to show proof of an exemption.

 Food: No outside food or beverage allowed with the exception of individual water bottles for athletes. Concessions will be open for both groups on site.

 2 SEPARATE ENTRANCES

 CPSC will be divided into 2 distinctly different entrances/playing areas.   You must enter and stay in your designated areas throughout the competition.  ALL of your matches will be played in your team's designated area.

TRACKSIDE (Front of Building and Utilize Front Parking Lot)

Camping Area: Mezzanine Level ONLY

 

 BAYSIDE (Back of the Building and Utilize Back Parking Lot)

Guests and players must always remain on their side of the split venue. Each side of the venue has restrooms, food and beverage for sale, and merchandise for sale. Guests also will not be permitted to enter through the opposite side of the building. Because of Covid restrictions, they must enter through the designated areas.

 

Parking: Free parking is available at the facility. Please regard facility signage.

 

Additionally, do not park in the fire lanes under any circumstances and do not park illegally and block someone in. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.

 

COVID 19 Team/Tournament Cancellation:

 

Tournament or Site - REQUIRED CANCELLATION

All team entry fees, in FULL, are required to be returned within 10

days.

 

Team Cancellations: When a TEAM must withdraw from an event due to required quarantine/cancellation, the following policy will be

enforced.

 

NO REFUND of event entry fee will be required of the event host. Every

effort must be made of the event host to replace the team withdrawing

and refund of entry fee made possible.

 

A PARTIAL REFUND may result from this effort. Many Tournament Directors

have made a “reduced entry fee proposal” to entice a late entry. The

difference in cost must be returned to the withdrawn team.
