It is imperative that OVR policies for recruiting juniors be followed with no exceptions. Those policies are based on the rules of OHSAA and other state athletic associations, put into place to protect athletes' scholastic eligiblity, and also on necessary measures of respect between clubs to best serve all athletes of the OVR. Reporting Violations
If an athlete or his family feels that they have been inappropriately approached or recruited by a club, they are encouraged to file an Incident Report (www.ovr.org/forms/Incident_Report.pdf) with the OVR Commissioner. The Commissioner will investigate any reports submitted. Sanctions for improper recruiting will be determined by the Commissioner.
