Thank you for your interest in our G16U tournament on Sunday April 28th Entry Fee is $200.00 made payable to Club Chill Volleyball and mailed to Michael Parker 626 Burkhart Ave ERIE Pa. 16511 Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Coaches meeting in main gym at 8:10. Pool Play begins at 8:30 a.m. TOURNAMENT PLAY PROCEDURES ========================== Standard OVR pool play and playoff seeding and procedures will be followed. For all the details please see: www.ovr.org/juniors/tournament_packet/JTP_Tournament_Format_08.pdf All pool play and bracket play matches are best 2 of 3 sets. Sets 1 and 2 (non-deciding sets) are to 25 points, win by 2. Set 3 (deciding set) is to 15 points, win by 2, switch sides at 8 For all sets there is no scoring cap. Pool Play Format ================ 1 vs. 3 (2 refs) 2 vs. 4 (1 refs) 1 vs. 4 (3 refs) 2 vs. 3 (1 refs) 3 vs. 4 (2 refs) 1 vs. 2 (4 refs) Work teams will provide a down official (R2), scorekeeper (SK), libero tracker (LT), score flipper, and 2 line judges (LJs). The LT, score flipper, and 2 LJs must report to the court official no later than the beginning of the second timed warm-up. If not present by the beginning of the first timed warm-up one point will be given to their next opponent, and one point will continue to be given for every minute that they are late. If no additional matches are to be played in that tournament, the tournament director shall file an incident report with the OVR commissioner and a $50 fine shall be imposed. PLAYOFFS ======== All teams advance. FOR EACH AGE GROUP 1st & 2nd place teams from each pool will go to GOLD bracket. 1st place in the Gold division will be given awards. 3rd & 4th place teams from each pool will go to SILVER bracket. CONCESSIONS =========== Cafe 64 offers a full concession stand. No coolers or outside food are allowed into the facility. TEAM ENTRY CANCELLATIONS ======================== A team cancelling after the entry deadline (14 days prior to the tournament date) will forfeit its entry fee. A team cancelling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement team is found. TOURNAMENT CANCELLATION POLICY ============================== In the event of a Level 3 Emergency in Erie County, we will follow the OVR Tournament Cancellation Policy: a. Tournament directors will make a timely decision and notify club directors, coaches, and officials of any change to a tournament’s status. b. If a tournament site is in a location where the local authorities have issued a “no travel” order, the tournament director shall honor that request and cancel the tournament. c. A team which originates in a county of a “no travel” order and not in attendance at a tournament with no travel restrictions will be given a full refund of its entry fee. UPDATE TOURNAMENT
