Tournament Information

PLease make checks payable to Club Focus Mail to Derek Bower 31 East Noble St. Marengo, Ohio 43334 POOL 1 and Pool 2 will be at High School 1300 State Route 314 Marengo, OH 43334 Pool 3 and Pool 4 will be at Middle School 6506 St Rt 229 Marengo, OH 43334 Doors open at 7:00 am, play will begin promptly at 8:00am. There is a mandatory coaches & officials meeting at 7:30am. PARKING Plenty of Parking in the school Parking Lots. CONCESSIONS A Concession Stand will be provided, and all outside food and beverage is prohibited. Coolers are NOT ALLOWED inside or outside. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. If seen, these items will be confiscated. SEATING Bleacher Seating will be available. Do not bring chairs as they are not permitted in the school gym. Teams are required to provide: 1 second referee - 2 line judges - 1 scorer - 1 libero tracker - 1 score flipper Pool Play for 4 Team Pools is as follows: 1 vs 3 (2 refs) 2 vs 4 (1 refs) 1 vs 4 (3 refs) 2 vs 3 (1 refs) 3 vs 4 (2 refs) 1 vs 2 (4 refs) Teams 1-8 (pool play winners and 2nd place teams) go to the Gold playoffs. Teams 9-12 (third place in pool) go into the Silver bracket in Middle School, and teams 13-16 (fourth place)teams go into the Bronze playoffs in Middle School. The lowest seeded team in each division not playing the first round of the playoffs will officiate the first playoff match. Tournament play will be the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.
