• From the north (Columbus)
  Take Route 23 South to Chillicothe. From Chillicothe, take Route 35 West to the County Road 87 exit. Turn left off the exit ramp onto County Road 87 which is also known as Frankfort-Clarksburg Pike. Follow Co. Rd. 87 into Frankfort. At the 4-way stop, go straight. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Springfield Street. Take Springfield Street west out of Frankfort about a mile. The school is on the right. Enter at the second entrance and follow the driveway to the rear parking lot.

• From the south (Portsmouth)

Thank you for your interest in our tournament.   Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT, Safesport and Concussion certified.  Coaches who do not have completed certification will not be permitted to coach per OVR rules.  

Doors open at 8:00 a.m.   Team Camp area will be available and no camping is permitted other than in that area.   Teams are responsible for leaving their camp area clean and free of trash and food.
A coaches' meeting will be held on court 1 at 8:30.    Play begins at 9:00 sharp.
Pool play is best of three sets with rally scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap).  The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap).  All warm ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2 minutes shared court, 4 minutes serving team, 4 minutes serve receiving team.  TEam may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

T shirts will be awarded to Gold Champions and runner up.

Coolers and outside food is not permitted inside the building.   All coolers of any size and type are to be left in vehicles.  The Ohio Valley Region prohibits coolers and outside food at OVR sanctioned events.   Clubs not complying with this rule will have an incident report filed with Bob Price, OVR Commissioner which could result in a $250 fine and a team/club suspension.   Clubs are asked to please go over this regulation with players and parents prior to the tournament to avoid penalty.   Club cooperation is appreciated.

A concession stand will be available with plenty of healthy choices at reasonable prices.   

Bleacher seating is available in both gyms.   No chairs are permitted on the gym floors.

If Ross County if under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be cancelled.  Cancellation notice will be posted on the OVR website.    Club directors and/or coaches will be notified as soon as possible.   Entry fees will be returned promptly.

Ample parking is available in the rear of the building.   Gym entrance is also in the rear of the building.   Use the driveway beyond the 2 ponds at the foot of the hill across from the brick one room school house.   Follow the school driveway to the back of the building and park in the lot nearest the softball diamond.   School address is:   3367 County Road 550, Frankfort, OH   45628
