  Exit I-75 at U.S. 35 east. Exit U.S. 35 at Main Street/Jefferson Street. Turn left onto Warren Street/Jefferson Street. Jefferson Street will become Warren Street and then Brown Street. • From I-75, northbound (from Cincinnati)

Tournament Information

Thank you for your interest in our event.  Team rosters will be
downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  A
coaches' meeting at 8:05 AM at the playing site will take place
prior to the start of the tournament.  Pool play begins at 8:30
AM.  

Pool Phase:
Pool play in a 4-team pool is the best of three sets with rally
scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a
minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). The deciding set, if
needed will be to 15 points with a minimum
two point advantage (no scoring cap). Pool play in a 3-team pool
is the best of five sets with rally scoring.

All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared
court,4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team.

Playoff Phase:
The top 2 teams from each pool will advance to an 4-team Gold
Division playoff bracket.
All third and fourth place teams from each pool will advance to a
4-team Silver Division playoff bracket.
All playoff matches are best of three sets with rally scoring.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 7:30 AM!

Keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  
Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff,
fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events.


UD Rec Plex has graciously agreed to allow outside food in the
venue. It is NOT allowed in the gym itself and no coolers will be
allowed. There is a dining area in front of THE CHILL with tables
and chairs. Please use this space ONLY for food. Please clean up
after yourselves.

Bleacher seating for spectators is provided, individual lawn
chairs are NOT permitted inside the facility. You will be turned
away at the door if you have a lawn chair. Chair backs that attach
to bleachers will be allowed. The floor has very recently been
completely resurfaced. Please be respectful of the facility and
keep it looking amazing. Thanks

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2018.

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. A
team canceling from this tournament to enter a different
tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Montgomery County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is canceled, a
notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.
