  • I-70 west to I-675 South.
  • Take I-675 South to Rt-725 (Miamisburg/Centerville), Exit 2. o Turn left at stop light at the top of the exit on Yankee Street.

Tournament Information

Thank you for your interest in our event.  Team rosters will be
downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  A
coaches' meeting at 7:35 AM at the playing site will take place
prior to the start of the tournament.  Pool play begins at 8:00
AM.  

Pool Phase:
We will play a twelve team on four court format. Pool play in a
3-team pool is the best of five sets with rally
scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a
minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). 
The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum
two point advantage (no scoring cap). 
  
All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court,
4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team.

We will observe a 30 minute lunch break following the pool play to
allow players and referees an opportunity to eat and have a court
break. Whistle for captains for bracket play will occur 30 minutes
following the completion of the final match of pool play.

Playoff Phase:
The top 2 teams from each pool will advance to an 8-team Gold
Division playoff bracket.
The 4 third place teams from each pool will advance to a 4-team
Silver Division playoff bracket.
All GOLD bracket quarter final matches will be played
simultaneously with the SILVER bracket teams officiating. Then
followed by the SILVER semifinals and GOLD semifinals being played
simultaneously, with the LOSERS of GOLD quarterfinals staying to
officiate. The SILVER finals will be played on Court 1 with the
last loser of SILVER semifinals remaining to officiate. Then the
GOLD Finals will be played on Court 1 with the Losing team from
Silver Finals staying to officiate.
All playoff matches are best of three sets with rally scoring.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 7:00 AM!

Keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  Setting up tables
and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or
parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. 

A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the
tournament site.

Bleacher seating for spectators is provided, but individual chairs
are permitted along the perimeter of the courts (off the sport
court). 

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2018.

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. A
team canceling from this tournament to enter a different
tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Montgomery County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is canceled, a
notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.
