Tournament Information

Teams may enter Buckeye Volleyball Club tournaments by sending an
entry fee ($200), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and
address by January 15th, 2018.

Enclose a check for $200 made payable to Buckeye Volleyball Club
by 1/15/18.

To All Club Directors and Coaches,

Doors open at 7:30AM and there will be a Coaches Meeting at
8:00AM. You will not need to bring volleyballs or carts. We will
have them available.   Please make sure you pass down the below
information to Coaches, Parents and Players so there is no
confusion. 

1. Make sure all coaches are Impact, Safesport and Concussion
Certified.  If it is
not updated on the OVR site bring the certificate with you as it
will need to be sent in to Tom Kohl.  Coaches who do have have
completed certifications will not be allowed to coach per OVR
Rules.

2.  We will have a full concession. Best concession in
region.(Homemade pulled chicken, pulled pork, all beef hotdogs,
homemade pasta salad, Panera Bagels, drinks.  All prices are very
reasonable.  NO COOLERS OR OUTSIDE FOOD  ALLOWED INTO BUCKEYE
VOLLEYBALL CENTER. ALL CLUBS NOT FOLLOWING THIS RULE CAN BE FINED
$250 PER OVR RULES.

Coolers and food: Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers (including
soft sided) are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting
OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams
or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited
at OVR-sanctioned events. Tournament directors and site managers
do not have the discretion to grant permission. Tournament
directors can permit teams to bring food into a designated area of
the tournament facility. Some facilities do not permit outside
food to be brought in to a tournament site. This is also will be
enforced. If a club does not comply amicably with a tournament
director's or site director's request, an Incident Report will be
sent to Bob Price, OVR Commissioner, resulting in up to a $250
fine and a team/club suspension.

All seating for spectators will be behind each court in front of
the red line.

Chairs should be brought by spectators.
 
If Licking County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is canceled, a
notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.

Parking Information:
Buckeye Volleyball Center-Newark has over 100 parking spaces.   If
overflow parking is needed please park in the VA Admin. next door
on the westside of the Building.  PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE
GRASS!!!
