• From Cleveland and points west:

  • Take I-90 East to Exit #24 Peach Street/Waterford.
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto US 19.
  • Continue approximately 10 miles into Waterford.
  • At the only stop light in town, make a left and go one block. (Russell’s Furniture Store will be on your left)
  • At the end of the block (there is no stop sign) make a left.
  • Continue approximately 3 blocks until the school is directly in front of you.
  • Please park in the parking lot beside the baseball field and enter the gym using the doors in the back of the building.

• From Pittsburgh and points south:

  • Take I-79 North to Exit #166 Edinboro/Albion 6N
  • Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp onto 6N E.
  • Continue on 6N through Edinboro, past the Wal-Mart, McDonald’s and Edinboro University for approximately 10 miles. This is a windy, hilly road.
  • Make a left at the stop light onto US 19N (Perry Highway) towards Waterford.
  • Continue on US 19N for approximately 4 miles to a stop sign.
  • Make a left at the stop sign to continue on US 19 N. There will be a car dealer in front of you.
  • Continue approximately 1 mile to the only stop light in town and make a right.
  • Go one block and make a left.
  • Continue approximately 4 blocks until the school is directly in front of you.
  • Please park in the parking lot beside the baseball field and enter the gym using the doors in the back of the building.

• From Buffalo and points east:

  • Take I-90W (New York Thruway) to Exit #27 Waterford/State Street.
  • Make a left at the end of the ramp onto US-97.
  • Continue approximately 9 miles to a stop sign.
  • Make a left at the stop sign onto US-19 to the center of Waterford.
  • At the only stop light in town, make a left and go one block. (Russell’s Furniture Store will be on your left)
  • At the end of the block (there is no stop sign) make a left.
  • Continue approximately 3 blocks until the school is directly in front of you.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments. Team rosters will
be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament.
Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified. 

Doors will open at 7:45 AM.  A coaches’ meeting at 8:10 AM at the
bison in the hallway outside the gym. The tournament starts at
8:30 A.M. sharp. There is ample bleacher seating and chairs will
not be permitted. 

Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each
non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point
advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be
to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap.)
Team’s first warm up of the day will follow the 7-4-4 format.  All
warm-ups thereafter will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared
court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team.
Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually
at one minute. 

Balls will not be provided for warm ups.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool
play. 


Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or
cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents
are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. A concession stand will
be provided at the tournament site. 
Seating for spectators will be provided in the gymnasium and
chairs are not necessary. Only those teams currently playing in a
match are permitted on the gymnasium floor. A full concession
stand will be offered and volleyball attire will be for sale. 

Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling
prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if
a replacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament to
enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

The Wingate by Wyndham, located across the street from Family
First Sports Park, has offered a rate of $79 (plus tax) per night
for each of the EPIC Volleyball Tournaments. This special rate is
available until one week before each tournament date and is not
available online. In order to get this special rate you must call
the hotel at 814-860-3050 and ask for the EPIC Volleyball rate.
