Entry fee is $200 US per team.  Please write your entry fee check
payable to:  Hamilton Athletics (memo: 3/19/17 OVR tournament)

Checks must be mailed by January 15, 2017. Please include team
ID#, team name, coach & contact information
Non-OVR teams need to submit a tournament entry form with their
entry fee checks.

Directions: 

SR129 to Hamilton, straight on Main St.
Follow over Main-High St. Bridge, get in right lane.
Turn right on ‘B’ Street.
Turn Left on NW Washington Blvd. Athletic Center entrance is on
your right. Use the athletic center entrance and it will take you
straight to the gymnasium. 

Door opens at 8:00 AM. There will be a coaches’ meeting at 8:30 AM
on court 1.
Officials are requested to be present for the coaches' meeting. 

The tournament starts at 9:00 A.M. sharp. 

Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each
non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point
advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be
to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring
cap.)All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared
court,4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team.
Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually
one minute.

**BALLS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR WARM-UPS**

Pool A will be on Court #1 in the main gym
Pool B will be on Court #2 in the main gym
Pool C will be in the Auxiliary Gym

CAMPING 
Player’s bags and equipment are not allowed in the competition
area nor will teams be allowed to camp in the competition area.
Camping area will be in the cafeteria. 

Ball Handling and Horse Play in the camping area is not permitted.


NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED. - Individual portions are allowed in
a player's bag.  

Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. 

Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff,
fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned
events.   This means NO TEAM BUFFETS.  Team buffets will be
confiscated if found.

A Concession Stand with a variety of foods is available
at the tournament site. 

Plenty of bleacher seating is available on both courts 1 & 2.  No
chairs allowed in the gymnasium. 

Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling
prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee
if
a replacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament to
enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee. 

Refund policy based on tournament cancellation if Butler County
is
on a Level 3 Emergency.
