2017 AiR CiTY CHiCKS 13 AMERiCAN CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT

Doors Open: 7:30 am (EST)
Coaches' Meeting: 8:05 am (EST)
Tournament Start Time: 8:30 am (EST)

PARKING: Parking is available in the lot in front of South Metro Sports, along the street on Success Lane, AND in the business parking lots across the street from South Metro Sports (during tournaments only). PLEASE NOTE: if you park along the street, you must be facing the direction of the flow of traffic on that side of the street or you could be ticketed!

Concessions: Available on-site. Outside food and/or coolers are not permitted in the building.

Spectator Seating: Bleacher seating is available on each court and limited floor space is available for outside chairs. Please note that chairs are NOT permitted on the sport court surface.

Tournament Format: This tournament features TWO ROUNDS of POOL PLAY followed by Gold, Silver, Bronze & Copper Playoff Brackets. Saturday play will consist of all six matches in the first round of pool play and the FIRST TWO matches of the second round of pool play. Sunday play will consist of the remainder of the second round of pool play and the play-off brackets. Teams will be re-seeded for the second round of pool play based on their finish in the first round.

For this event, Court #1 is the court closest to the gym entrance; Court #4 is the court furthest from the gym entrance.

Playoffs: The first and second place teams from Pools AA and BB will advance to GOLD Bracket. The third and fourth place teams from Pools AA and BB will advance to the SILVER Bracket. The first and second place teams from Pools CC and DD will advance to the BRONZE Bracket. The third and fourth place teams from Pool CC and the third place team from Pool DD will advance to the COPPER Bracket.

Awards: Presented to Gold Playoff Bracket winner & runner-up.

Weather Related Cancellations/Delays: If Montgomery or Warren County (in Ohio) issue a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be cancelled. If the tournament is cancelled, a notice will be displayed on the AiR CiTY CHiCKS website (www.aircitychicks.com). Club coaches/directors and assigned officials will be contacted by phone via the phone number we have on file. Entry fees will be returned within one week of the cancellation.

Registration Requirements: Send 11-character team code, entry fee & coach's contact info (email & cell phone) BY JANUARY 15, 2017

Cancellation Policy: A team cancelling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team cancelling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. Phone or other expenses incurred to find a replacement may be deducted from the entry fee refund. A team cancelling from one tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee. If a team requests and receives entry into a tournament but does not pay its entry fee, the team's club will be fined the amount of the entry fee.
