Teams may enter Buckeye Volleyball Club tournaments by sending an
entry fee ($400), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and
address by January 15th, 2017.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  Team rosters
will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  A
coaches' meeting at 8:00 AM at the playing site will take place
prior to the start of the tournament.  The tournament starts at
8:30 AM Sharp at Buckeye Volleyball Center.  Pool pay is the best
of three sets with rally scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be
to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage(no scoring cap). 
The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum
two point advantage(no scoring cap).  All warm-ups will use the
2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team,
4-minutes Serve Receving team.  Teams may request the referee to
tell them when to serve, usually one minute.

Tee Shirts will be awarded for Gold Division Winners.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool
play.

First Round: All Teams Advance.
Second Round:  Top two teams in Pool AA and BB play in the Gold. 
Third and fourth place teams In pool AA and BB will play in the
Silver.
Top Two teams in Pool CC and DD play in the Bronze.  Third and
Fourth place teams in Pool CC and DD play in the Copper.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 7:30 AM at Buckeye Volleyball Center, team camps will be
permitted in the assigned rooms.  No teams will be
allowed to camp outside of these designated areas.  

Keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  Setting up tables
and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or
parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. 

A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the
tournament site.

All seating for spectators will be limited to the center court
area. 
Chairs may be brought by spectators, but please share the front
viewing area with teams that are currently playing.

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2016

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee
if a repacement is found.  A team canceling from this tournament
to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Franklin County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is canceled, a
notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list.  Club
directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone,
email) as soon as possible.  Entry fees will be returned within 3
days of the cancellation.

Buckeye Volleyball Center's parking lot will not fit all cars
coming into the tournament.  See Overflow parking information
below.

1. PLEASE CAR POOL IF POSSIBLE.

2. PLEASE PARK HEAD IN AT THE BUCKEYE VOLLEYBALL CENTER PARKING
LOT.  Do Not Park in front of Dumpsters.  That area is reserved
for Officials.

3. PARKING IS ALLOWED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE OAK CREEK DRIVE. 
PLEASE STAY 5 FEET FROM ANY DRIVEWAY.   COLUMBUS POLICE WILL
TICKET IF YOU DON'T
COMPLY.

4.  DO NOT PARK IN ANY BUSINESS PARKING LOTS ON OAK CREEK DRIVE
OR IN THE APARTMENT COMPLEX BEHIND OUR BUILDING.  THEY WILL TOW.

5. THE GRASS IN FRONT OF BUCKEYE VOLLEYBALL CENTER IS NOT OUR
PROPERTY, SO PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS OR WALK ACROSS THE
GRASS.  

6. IMPORTANT!  BUCKEYE VOLLEYBALL CENTER PARKING LOT IS NOT BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD EVERYBODY.  OVERFLOW PARKING IS AROUND THE CORNER AT THE RAMADA INN PARKING LOT.  NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING LOCATION IS THE SAFELITE PARKING LOT
JUST WEST ON SCHROCK RD FROM OAK CREEK DR. 
THERE IS PLENTY OF PARKING.  DO NOT PARK IN ANY BUSINESS LOTS ON OAK CREEK DRIVE.  YOU WILL BE TOWED.

7. Another approved area for parking is the Saftlite lot just west
of Oak Creek Drive off of Schrock Road.
