Tournament Information

Entry to the Tournament requires you completed entry which is
$200/team and your OVR team ID number.
You may hold a position in the tournament via email at
baumby.fvbc@gmail.com, however your entry is 
not complete until checks and OVR numbers are received. Checks ca
be made payable to:

The tournament begins promptly at 9:00 AM Doors will open at 8:00
AM.  The coaches meeting will
be held in the main gym promptly at 8:30AM. You must have an
IMPACT and fully OCR certified coach.  

Pool Play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each
non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point
advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed will be to
15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap.) 
All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2 minute shared court, 4
minute serving team and 4 minutes 
receiving team.

Teams are not necessarily listed in their seed order and all pools
were set-up by OVR guidelines that requires teams from the same
club to not be in the same pool.

After pool play teas will be put in playoff brackets according to
their pool finish.  Playoff brackets for each age 
division will be posted at the master schedule by the concession
stands. The lowest seeded team in each division
not playing in the first round of the playoffs will officiate the
first playoff match.  Tournament play will be
the best of three sets.  After the first round of the playoffs all
losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate
the next match.  Awards will be given to the Champions in the gold
bracket. 

A team camping area will be provided.  There is no camping in the
gyms.  You may bring your own chairs to sit in, some c
chairs may be provided, depending on availability.  Chairs are
only allowed on the matted areas of the gym.  We ask that
fans be courteous of those fans of other teams and allow playing
teams prime seating for their respective matches.  
There is no seating along the walls next to the courts.  The
auxiliary gym has bleacher seating available.
Please keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and
outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  
Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff,
fans, coaches,or parents are prohibited at 
OVR-sanctioned events.  A concession stand with many options will
be provided at the tournament site and the proceeds 
will benefit the New Reigle Athletic Department.  

Team/Tournament Cancellation:  Per OVR regulations a team
cancelling after the entry deadline,
14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its full entry
fee if a replacement is not found.  A team cacelling
from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit
its entry fee.  

If Sandusky County is under a level 3 Snow Emergency, The
tournament will be canceled.  For any reason the tournament is
cancelled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament
list.  Entry fees will be refunded as soon as 
possible.
