Pool Play:
For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be 
won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change 
sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, 
they score a point and gain the serve.

Tournament Format:
All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any 
ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. Top two teams in Pool AA and BB play in Gold tournament. 
Third and fourth place teams in Pool AA and BB play in Silver tournament. Top two teams in Pool CC and 
DD play in Bronze tournament. Third and fourth place teams in Pool CC and DD play in Copper 
tournament. Awards to first, second and both third places in Gold Division.

First Round:
Pool A: seeds 1,8,9,16 
Pool B: seeds 2,7,10,15
Pool C: seeds 3,6,11,14
Pool D: seeds 4,5,12,13

Second Round:  (first 2 matches will be played on Saturday, then continued 8am Sunday morning)

Maverick Facility Rules:
Chairs are NOT permitted.  Bleacher seating is provided behind each court.  Maverick provides shelving for all bags, etc.  Please do not put any bags on or below the bleachers.  We ask that you be respectful of all spectators and allow other fans to watch their team compete when your team is not competing.

Concessions: 
We provide a full concession stand.  There is no outside food permitted in the facility.  


Weather:
If severe weather is expected, please watch this space for updates.  Tournaments will only be cancelled if there is a Level 3 emergency in Cuyahoga County. All coaches/tournament directors will be contacted as well.
