• From I-80/I-90:

  • Take the Ohio Turnpike to exit 59.
  • Get off the exit and go South, you will end up on Reynolds Rd.
  • Turn left at Dussel Rd (first stop light).
  • Turn left at 3-way stop sign to stay on Dussel Rd.
  • The road will dead end into the parking lot of the LCRC.

• From I-75 South:

  • Take I-75 North to exit 192 (I-475 Norht/US 23).
  • Travel north towards Maumee/Ann Arbor for ~7.3 miles.
  • Take exit 6 (Maumee/Dussel Rd).
  • Turn right (East) on Dussel Rd.
  • Travel about 3 miles and turn left at 3-way stop sign to stay on Dussel Rd.
  • The road will dead end into the parking lot of the LCRC.

• From I-475 North:

  • Take I-475 to exit 6 (Maumee/Dussel Rd).
  • Turn left (East) on Dussel Rd.

Tournament Information

Pool play format: 3 courts, 5 referees, 11 teams, 24 matches

2 pools of 4 teams, 1 pool of 3 teams

For pools of 3 teams, the best of 5 sets will win matches. For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets
will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a
minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the
team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change
sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins
the rally, they score a point and gain the serve.

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first.
For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place, second-place, and the top two
third-place teams to the Gold playoffs. The remaining third-place and all fourth-place teams to
the Silver playoffs. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to
avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round.Entry fee is $200 US per team.  Please write your entry fee check

Checks should be mailed by January 1, 2015.  Checks are not
deposited until the weekend of the event.  If you are entering
teams in multiple events, you may want to send a separate check
per event.

Non-OVR teams need to submit the following entry form with their

Doors open at 8:00am.  Coaches' meeting is at 8:30am near court #1.  Play begins at 9:00am.

Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified. 
Pool pay is the best of three sets with rally scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage(no scoring cap). 
The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage(no scoring cap).  All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receving team.  Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute.


Seating is limited.  You may bring your own chair.

Outside food is not allowed into the facility.  TVC will be hosting a concession stand for participants and spectators. 
Personal coolers must be left in your vehicles.

There is parking in the front of the building.

If severe weather is expected, we will notify all teams of any changes and also posted on this site.
