• From Cleveland:
  Go East on I_90. Exit off of the Geneva Exit (Rt. 534). Take a left at the light heading north. GaREAT will be on your right hand side. The entrance to the sports complex is between Chops and Wendy’s Restaurant.

• From Erie:
  Go West on I-90. Exit off of the Geneva Exit (Rt. 534). Take a right off of the exit heading north. GaREAT will be on your right hand side. The entrance to the sports complex is between Chops and Wendy’s Restaurant.

Tournament Information

The doors to the facility will open at 7am. There will be a coaches meeting at 8:10 on court 12 and we will begin play at 8:30. Please check in with the tournament director when you get to the site. 

The format will be as follows:

All matches in the opening round will best 2 out of 3 sets. Pools D & E will play in a crossover. 
All teams will advance to the next round. All ties will be governed by USAV tie-breaking procedures (no tie-breaker sets). The 1st place and 2nd place teams will advance to the top division (3 pools, AA, BB & CC) as well as the Best 3rd place and the 2nd Best 3rd place team. The other 3rd place and 4th place teams advance to a lower division (2 pools, DD & EE).

Pools AA, BB & CC will be best 2 of 3 sets and play matches 1 and 2 on Saturday after the re-pool.  Pools DD & EE will play best 3 out of 5 sets and will only play match number 1 on Saturday after the re-pool.  
The other pool matches in round 2 will be played Sunday starting at 8:30 am.
All teams will advance to the playoffs. All ties will be governed by USAV tie-breaking procedures. 

Bracket Play
Gold
The top 2 teams in Pools AA, BB & CC advance to the Gold Bracket.  AA1 and BB1 will receive the bye in first round; however they will ref the first match. 
Silver
The 3rd and 4th teams in Pools AA, BB & CC will advance to the Silver Bracket. AA3 and BB3 will receive the by in the first round; however they will ref the first match. 
Bronze
All teams in Pool DD & EE advance to the Bronze Bracket. DD1 & EE1 will receive the by in the first round; however they will ref the first match. 

Coaches need to check in at Championship Desk on Saturday morning. You will verify your roster and pick up your tournament packet. The packet will include all of the pools and the playoff bracket information.
There will be a coaches meeting at 8:10 on Court 12 only on Saturday.
Warm-ups will be 7-4-4 for the first match for each team each day. Then they will be 2-4-4 for any subsequent matches in the same day.
You will be able to designate up to two Libero per match. Only one may play on the court at any given time. Only one Libero is allowed to serve in one service position. You must designate which Libero will be allowed to serve in the match.
