Tournament Information

Teams may enter tournaments by sending
an entry fee of $175, 11 digit ID # and a team contact name,
address and phone number.

Coaches meeting 8:00am
Pool play begins 8:30am

Pool Play - Pool play is the best of 3 sets with rally scoring. 
Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two
point advantage (no scoring cap).  The deciding set, if needed
will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no
scoring cap).   All warm ups will use 2-4-4 format; 2 minutes
shared court, 4 minutes serving team, 4 minutes serve receiving
team.  Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve.

Match 1 – 1 vs. 3 (2)
Match 2 – 2 vs. 4 (1)
Match 3 – 1 vs. 4 (3)
Match 4 – 2 vs. 3 (1)
Match 5 – 3 vs. 4 (2)
Match 6 – 1 vs. 2 (4)
Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool
play.

Play off Procedure - Teams will advance to either gold or silver
division according to pool play.  Pool play winners and 2nd place
teams will go to the gold division and 3rd and 4th place teams
will go to the silver division.  The lowest seeded team in each
division, not playing the first round, will officiate the first
playoff match.  Tournament play will be the best of three sets. 
After the first round of the playoffs all losing teams must stay
and officiate the next match.

Awards - Awards will be given to the 1st place team in
the Gold Division.

Concession stand – A full concession stand will be available 
NO COOLERS AND OUTSIDE FOOD PERMITTED.

NO FOOD OR DRINK PERMITTED IN GYM, water and sports drinks for
players and coaches are permitted.

Spectator Seating – bleachers and chairs are available.  Lawn
chairs are not permitted in gym.

VOLLEYBALLS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN HALLWAYS.

Tournament Cancellation Policy – if SHELBY County is under a
Level
3 Emergency, the tournament will be cancelled.  Coaches and
officials will be contacted (phone and email) as soon as
possible.
 Tournament checks will be sent out within 3 business days for
refund.
