Tournament Information

Welcome to the newly remodeled Parkersburg South High School. We
have three 
Courts available. Two in one gym with separate nets and one in
another gym.  

Entry Fee is $175

Doors Open at 8 AM
Coaches Meet on court 1 in the double court area at 8:30 AM
Play begins at 9 AM
OVR procedures are followed for pool play, playoffs, and
officiating

Teams will have 7 min shared, 4 min serving and 4 min
receiving the first two matches. Then warm-up will be 2, 4, 4 the
rest of
the day. Officiating Crews need to be on time. NO FOOD or
Electronics at
the scorers table.

Pool Play Format: 

4-team pool matches will be best of 3 sets. Non-deciding sets
played to
25 points, win by minimum of two points, no scoring cap. Deciding
set
played to 15 points, win by minimum of two points, no scoring cap.
Teams
change sides at 8 points:

Match 1 vs 3 (2) Ref
Match 2 vs 4 (1) Ref
Match 1 vs 4 (3) Ref
Match 2 vs 3 (1) Ref
Match 3 vs 4 (2) Ref
Match 1 vs 2 (4) Ref

Seating is available for both gyms via bleachers.

Medals will be awarded for the tournament champion.

Concessions sell Hot & Cold Food and drinks. Volleyball items will
be
sold also.

Please do not bring coolers or food into the gyms.  Concessions
and t-shirts are a fundraiser for South VB Boosters and the WV Jrs
VB Club.

Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations:
*A team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.
*A team canceling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit 
its full entry fee if a replacement is found. 
*A team cancelling from this tournament to enter a different
tournament will forfeit its entry fee. 

If Wood County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will
be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice
will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club
directors
and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as
soon as
possible. 
Entry fees will be returned within 3 days of the cancellation.
