Directions

Otsego Middle School and High School are attached. The Middle School is on the south side.

Tournament Information

This tournament will take place in the Middle School (attached to HS).

Teams may enter tournaments by sending an entry fee ($170), team 11 digit 
ID#, and team contact name and address by January 15. Tournament checks 
will be deposited January 15, 2009.

Tournament will start at 9:00 AM    Doors will open at 8:00 AM
Camp sites in hallways only (not by exits)
Coaches meeting at 8:30 AM for all teams (13R & 14R) in H.S. gym court 1
Warm-up at 8:50 AM
Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the 
tournament. Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified and all 
players and coaches have completed OVR membership. 


Officials are to arrive at 8:30 AM


Pool play 
is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will 
be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The 
deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two point 
advantage (no scoring cap.) All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-
minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving 
team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually 
one minute.

Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play. 
Teams 1-4 (pool play winners and 2nd place teams) go to the gold playoffs 
and teams 5-8 (third and fourth place teams) go to the silver playoffs. 
The lowest seeded team in each division not playing the first round of the 
playoffs will officiate the first playoff match. Tournament play will be 
the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs, all losing 
teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match. Awards to 
the winning players and coaches of the gold playoffs.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of Gold.

There will be a FULL concessions stand.  Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities 
hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams 
or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-
sanctioned events. 

Bleachers will be provided, no chairs in Otsego's facilities.  Thanks.

Tournament Cancellation: If Wood County is under a Level 3 Emergency, 
the tournament will be cancelled. For any reason the tournament is 
cancelled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. 
Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, 
email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within 3 days of 
the cancellation

If your team cancels within three weeks prior to the tournament, there will
be a refund, only if another team replaces you. 

You are required to clean up any mess made throughout the building
by your team or your club will be reported to the OVR.
