Teams may enter Glass City tournaments by sending the entry fee ($170), team 11 digit number, and team contact information by January 15, 2009

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament.  Please make sure your coach  is IMPACT certified.  A coaches meeting will take place at 7:45 am, at the playing site, and play begins at 8:00 am sharp.  Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap).  The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap).  All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2 minute shared court, 4-minute serving team, 4 minute serve-receiving team.  Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually at one minute.

Ist and 2nd place teams in each pool go to gold playoffs, team that finish in 3rd and 4th place in the first pools goes to silver playoffs.  Losing teams will stay to officiate, and  awards will be given to gold tournament winners only.

The doors of the playing site will not be open until 7:15 am.  

Keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  A concession stand will NOT be provided at the University of Toledo, but WILL be provided at Start High School.

If the tournament is cancelled, club directors and/or coaches will be contacted by phone as soon as possible.  They will also be posted on the OVR tournament site.
