Directions

• From the north (Columbus)
  Take Route 23 South to Chillicothe. From Chillicothe, take Route 35 West to the County Road 87 exit. Turn left off the exit ramp onto County Road 87 which is also known as Frankfort-Clarksburg Pike. Follow Co. Rd. 87 into Frankfort. At the 4-way stop, go straight. At the next stop sign, turn right onto Springfield Street. Take Springfield Street west out of Frankfort about a mile. The school is on the right. Enter at the second entrance and follow the driveway to the rear parking lot.

• From the south (Portsmouth)

Adena High School “Volley in the Village” Ohio Valley Region Tournament

 

To enter “Volley in the Village”, please email Laura Smith at smithlk@horizonview.net to have your team put on the tournament list.   Your team will be entered after your team code and entry fee are received.  Mail check made payable to Laura Smith Volleyball for $235 per team and team code to the address below.   Checks must be received by December 15 but will not be deposited until January 2. Post dating your check is permissible.

There will be a gate charge of $5.00 for adults 19 years and older.  Payment is with cash only. No credit cards or checks will be taken at the gate. 

 

Doors open:    8:00 a.m.
Coaches/Officials meeting  8:30am
Play begins: 9:00am

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool play.
Tournament bracket will be set and begin immediately following pool play.
1st and 2nd place teams in Gold will receive awards. 

 

FACILITY INFORMATION:

Seating is provided. Chairs are not permitted on the gym floor. Each team will be assigned a table to serve as their “camping area”  Coolers of any type are not permitted in building.  A full concession with many healthy choices will be available all day.

 

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior
to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found.  A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.
