Tournament Information

Thank you for attending and your support..  There will be a camping area behind the HS gym.  Teams should bring their own warm-up balls and electronic whistles for officiating. 

No outside chairs are allowed as there is only bleacher seating.  No outside food can be brought into South Range .  A concession stand will be available wiith cold and hot food. 

Doors will open at 7:10A.  Coaches meeting will be held in the HS gym at 7:35A.  First match will start no later than 8:00A.

All teams advance to playoffs.  6 teams will advance to Gold and 4 teams to Silver.  Tournament prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in the Gold bracket only.

Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring.  Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap).  The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap).  All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format except the first match of the day per team when the 7-4-4 format will be used.

Six teams will advance to the Gold bracket and four teams will advance to the Silver bracket.  Tournament play will be the same best of three format as pool play.  If agreement exists at the coaches meeting, the losing team in the first round will be able to leave.  After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams must stay and officiate unless released by the TD.

If the tournament is cancelled, club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible.  Tournament cancellation will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament page and entry fees will be returned ASAP.
