Doors open 7:30 am, Coaches meeting 8:00 am,

Tournament begins at 8:30 am.

You need to bring your own warm up balls with you.

 

The two different age divisions will be playing in two separate gyms.

The 10's division will be played in the Main Gym in the new school. Do NOT enter the school from Main Street, as those doors will be locked. Enter through Door D1 by the loop (use 25 W. Perry Street for the GPS address).

The 11's division will be played in the Haas Gymnasium. The same parking lot can be used for the Haas gym as the Main Gym. Additional parking can also be found North of the Haas Gym and the 11's division is encouraged to use this parking lot. There will be silver double doors unlocked to enter into the Haas gym through if you park in this lot.

 

 

Concession stand will be available - There will be one concession stand for both gyms. The concession stand will be in the Haas Gym.

 

Keep all coolers in cars.

 

Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. 

NO TEAM BUFFETS, in or outside our facility

 

There will be bleacher seating available.

 

Each team will camp in the designated camping area. Please make sure your camping area is clean before leaving.

 

Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.)

The deciding set will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.)

Pool Play is the OVR format for 4 team pool: 1 vs 3 (2) 2 vs 4 (1) 1 vs 4 (3) 2 vs 3 (1) 3 vs 4 (2) 1 vs 2 (4)

3 team pools: 1 vs 3 (2) 2 vs 3 (1) 1 vs 2 (3)

All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court,

4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team.

All first-place and second-place teams go to the Gold playoffs.

All third-place & fourthplace teams go to the Silver playoffs.

 

Prizes will be awarded to the winners in Gold.

Coaches and Players who are not up to date with their registration will not be permitted to participate in OVR Sanctioned events.  

Only USAV members may be in the playing area to assist with warm-ups.

During each team's full-court warm-up segment, the off team should offer to help with retrieving balls.

 

 

 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any team canceling within 30 days prior to the tournament will forfeit its entry fee unless a replacement team is found. Any team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Huron County is under a level 3 snow emergency, the tournament will be cancelled.  If for any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament List. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted via email as soon as possible.
