Send in your tournament fee of $450 to:

Include your team(s) OVR number and tournament date(s) with your payment.

 

Doors open 7:30 am, Coaches meeting 8:00 am (Saturday only),

Tournament begins at 8:30 am.

You need to bring your own warm up balls with you.

Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.)

The deciding set will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.)

All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court,

4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team.

After the first pool is completed, teams will be re-pooled and

will play the first two rounds of the second pool on Saturday.  Sunday

after the second pool is completed, all teams will go to either

Gold, Silver and Bronze playoff bracket.  

 

Match order for the first two rounds is listed below: 

8:30 a.m.  1 vs. 3 (2) 

9:15 a.m.  2 vs. 4 (1)

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd place winners in Gold.

Coaches and Players who are not up to date with their registration will not be permitted to participate in OVR Sanctioned events.  

Only USAV members may be in the playing area to assist with warm-ups.

During each team's full-court warm-up segment, the off team should offer to help with retrieving balls.

Each team will camp in the designated camping area.

 

Concession stand will be open at 7:30am

 

NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED. 

Keep all coolers in cars.

Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. 

NO TEAM BUFFETS, in or outside our facility

Spirit provides you with bleacher seating, but you may bring your own lawn chair, provided you are not in playing areas

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any team canceling within 14 days prior to the tournament will forfeit its entry fee unless a replacement team is found. Any team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If the City of Elyria is under a level 3 snow emergency, the tournament will be cancelled.  If for any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament List. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted via email as soon as possible.
