Tournament Information

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  Team rosters
will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament.  Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified.  A
coaches' meeting at 8:00 AM at the playing site will take place
prior to the start of the tournament.  Warm-ups at 8:15 am. 
The tournament play starts at 8:30 AM sharp at Kids America. 

Tournament entry fee is due January 15, 2017.

Pool play format: 4 courts, 6 referees each day, 16 teams, 60 matches
4 pools of 4 teams
For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that
first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be
won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change
sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally,
they score a point and gain the serve.

For the first round, teams from the same club, regardless of seed, should not be placed in the same pool.

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. 

Tie-breaking: Since all teams advance to playoffs, ties will not be decided by playing a set.
1. If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head to head match determines their order of finish.
2. If 3 teams from the same pool are tied after match and set % and point differential have been calculated,
a coin flip will determine their order of finish.

Top two teams in Pool AA and BB play in Gold tournament.
Third and fourth place teams in Pool AA and BB play in Silver tournament. 
Top two teams in Pool CC and DD play in Bronze tournament. 
Third and fourth place teams in Pool CC and DD play in Copper tournament. 

Awards to first, second in all Division Brackets.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will open 7:30 AM.
All team camps will be in the balcony of the facility.  No teams 
will be allowed to camp on the main floor of the facility.  

Keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  Setting up tables
and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or
parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. 

A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the
tournament site.

We have a full balcony for spectators to see all 4 courts. 
However chairs may be brought by spectators.  Only two rows of 
chairs are permitted around the outside sideline walls of the courts.  
No chairs on the endlines or between the courts.

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations- a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found.  
A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament 
will forfeit its entry fee.

If Coshocton County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be canceled.  Listen to WTNS 99.3 and posted on our website and 
coaches will receive an e-mail at the time of cancellation.
