Tournament Information

Our 17 Regional Tournament, at Miami East High School, will have play starting at 0900.  Coach’s meeting will be at 0830.  Play schedule for each pool will be:

All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, we will use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place and second-place teams and the two best third place teams to the Gold playoffs. The remaining third place team and all fourth-place teams to the Silver playoffs.  Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round.  We will have shirts for the winners of the Gold Division.
Tie-breaking procedure. Since all teams advance to playoffs, ties will not be decided by playing a set. 
1. If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head to head match determines their order of finish. 

2. If 3 teams from the same pool are tied after match and set % and point differential have been 

calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of finish.

We will be certifying any of your players for Scorekeeping or R2 throughout pool play.  

There is plenty of bleacher seating available and personal chairs are not allowed in the facility.

There will be food sales. Remember coolers are not allowed in facilities hosting OVR events.
Officials, please plan to be present for the Coach’s meeting.   Each official will have six matches. 
If there is inclement weather requiring cancellation of the tournament, notification will be sent out and entry fees will be returned.
