Teams may enter by sending an entry fee ($175), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and address by January 15.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments. Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament. Please make sure your coach is Concussion and IMPACT certified. A coaches’ meeting at 8:30 AM at the playing site will take place prior to the start of the tournament. The tournament starts at 9:00 A.M. sharp. Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no scoring cap.)

Prior to each team’s first match of the day, warm-ups are to consist of 15 minutes (7 minutes shared, no hitting across net), 4 minutes serving team, 4 minutes receiving team. After each teams first match, the warm-up time between all matches is will be 10 minutes, consisting of 2 minutes of shared ball handling on-court, 4 minutes full-court for the serving team, and 4 minutes full-court for the receiving team.

Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play.

Teams 1-8 (All first and 2nd place teams and best third and second best third place teams) go to the gold playoffs and teams 9-12 (remaining third place and all fourth place teams) go to the silver playoffs. The lowest seeded team in each division not playing the first round of the playoffs will officiate the first playoff match. Tournament play will be the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.

Awards will be given to first and second place team members and coaches in the gold tournament bracket.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked until 8:00 AM. Keep all coolers in cars. Outside food and coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. A concession will be provided at the tournament site. Seating is provided. Some folding chairs will be permitted.

Tournament checks will be deposited January 15, 2014.

Team/Tournament Cancellation: Per OVR regulations- a team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

If Warren County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be cancelled. For any reason the tournament is cancelled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within 3 days of the cancellation.
