Awards: Presented to Gold Playoff Bracket 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place.

Concessions: One of the BEST concessions stands in the region! We
have a great selection of healthy food choices. Outside food
and/or coolers are not permitted in the building and will be
removed.

Spectator Seating: Bleacher seating is available courtside and
limited floor space is available for outside chairs. Chairs are
NOT permitted on the sport court surface at any time.

Cancellation Policy: A team cancelling after the entry deadline,
14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.
A team cancelling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its
full entry fee if a replacement is found. Any team cancelling from
one tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its
entry fee.
 
Weather Related Cancellations/Delays: If Champaign or Clark County
issue a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be cancelled. If
the tournament is cancelled, a notice will be displayed on our
website (www.sharksvolleyball.org) and club directors will be
notified. Entry fees will be returned within one week of the
cancellation.

Teams will be seeded into two 6 team pools. They will play the other teams within their pool. The six Pool A’s teams will play each other starting at 9am on Saturday and be officiated by teams from Pool B. Then the six Pool B’s teams will play each other and be officiated by teams from Pool A. Etc…

We will play the first 12 matches of pool play on Saturday starting at 9am. The other 3 matches of pool play will play Sunday starting at 9am.

All teams will advance to the playoffs which will start about 11am on Sunday. All ties will be governed by the USAV tie-breaking procedures. The 1st and 2nd place teams in each pool will advance to the GOLD playoffs. The 3rd and 4th place teams will advance to the SILVER. The 5th and 6th place teams will advance to the BRONZE. All teams play at least 2 matches in their brackets. So, if you lose your first match, you will play one more consolation match. Prizes will be awarded to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in the GOLD playoffs.

We will play the first 16 matches of pool play on Saturday starting at 9am. The other 5 matches of pool play will play Sunday starting at 9am.

All teams will advance to the playoffs which will start about 12pm on Sunday. All ties will be governed by the USAV tie-breaking procedures. All teams advance to the playoffs. Teams who place 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in pool play will advance to the GOLD playoffs. Teams who finish 5th, 6th, and 7th in pool play will advance to SILVER playoffs.  

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams in the GOLD bracket.

Coaches need to check in at the meeting at 8:30am on Saturday morning near court 4. You will verify your roster and pick up the tournament packet. 

Warm ups will be 7-4-4 for the first match of the day for each team. 2-4-4 for any subsequent matches that same day.
