Tournament Information

Tournament cost is $175.  Make check out to 'Girard Volleyball'. 
Mail to 908 Washington Ave., Girard, Ohio 44420.
Doors open at 7:00 AM.  Coaches meeting at 7:40 AM.  Play begins
at 8:00 AM.

Officiating Procedures:  Officials work schedule will be setup and
maintained by the head official.  All officials eat free from
concession stands.  Game balls must be returned to tournament
director after playoffs before officials receive checks.

Site Specific Rules:  Bleacher seating for all 3 courts.  No
chairs are permitted in the gym.  Camping is permitted in the
cafeteria and hallways as long as they are not blocking any doors.
 Outside food is permitted as long as it is kept in the cafeteria.
 No coolers in school.  No tables.

Awards:  Tournament champions will receive a medal and t-shirt. 
Gold runner-up will receive medals.  Silver champions will receive
medals.

Concessions:  Concession stand will be available with hot and cold
foods.

Cancellation Policy.  The Tournament Director will cancel
tournaments having fewer than four teams entered within one month
of the tournament date. If, for other reasons, a tournament is
cancelled, we will notify all teams entered and assigned referees
by phone and through the OVR website and issue a refund within 72
hours of the cancellation. If a tournament needs to be altered,
the tournament director will notify all club directors and
referees both by phone and through the OVR website.
Hired/contracted referees who are not notified but still arrive at
the match site will be compensated a minimum of one match fee.
Due to circumstances beyond a tournament director’s control,
changes may be necessary for starting time, pool play or
tournament formats, and occasionally tournament sites. The
Tournament director will provide information in sufficient time
for club directors and their teams to plan accordingly.
