• From Columbus: US-23 South to US-35/US-50 East, merge onto US-50 East, go approximately 5, miles turn right onto Lancaster Road.
• From Cincinnati: I-71 North to OH-435/US-35 (EXIT 65) to US-35 East, merge onto US-50 East, go approximately 5, miles turn right onto Lancaster Road.

Tournament Information

Teams may enter Spiketown VBC tournaments by sending an
entry fee of ($175), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and
address by January 15th.

Enclose a check for $175 made payable to Spiketown Volleyball
Club.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments.  Team rosters will
be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the
tournament. Please make sure your coach is registered with OVR and
IMPACT certified and all players are registered with OVR. If your
team and/or your coach has NOT completed all OVR requirments you
will not be permitted to compete in this tournament. 

The coaches' meeting will take place at 7:30 AM in the cafeteria
prior to the start of the tournament.  
The tournament starts at 8:00 AM at Southeastern High School.  

Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring.  Each
non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point
advantage(no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed will be to
15 points with a minimum two point advantage(no scoring cap).  All
warm-ups will use the2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court,
4-minutes Serving Team 4-minutes Serve Receving team.  Teams may
request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one
minute.

Tee Shirts and medals will be awarded for Gold Division Winners. 


Pool play and tournament play will be per OVR rules and
standards.

Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked
until 7:00 AM
 
Team camps will be permitted in the assigned area. It is first
come first serve. No teams will be allowed to camp outside of the
designated area. Clean up after yourself.

Keep all coolers in cars.  Coolers are prohibited in and outside
facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events.  Setting up tables
and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or
parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. The only food to
be brought in is for medical reasons. 

A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the
tournament site.

Chairs are NOT permitted to brought in by spectators. Bleacher
seating will be available. Do NOT bring any chairs.

Tournament checks will be deposited no later than January 15,
2013

Team/Tournament cancellation:  Per OVR regulations-a team
canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the
tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee.  A team canceling
does not forfeit its full entry fee if a repacement is found. A
team canceling from this tournament to enter a different
tournament will forfeit its entry fee.

The tournament will not be cancelled due to inclimate weather.
Barring a NO TRAVEL order given by the proper government
authority. Use extreme caution if road conditions are bad.
