• From Dayton:

  Northbound I-75 to exit 125 (SR. 309): at the end of the exit ramp turn west (left). Get in the right hand lane, Bellefontaine Ave (SR. 309) Follow this for approxiamtely 2 miles (you will pass Lima Memorial Hospital-on the right-then a set of RR tracks. You will come to a five point intersection. Go straight on Market Ave for about 3/4 of a mile. Turn right on Jackson St, and then right on Spartan Way.

• From Toledo:

  Southbound I-75 to exit 125B (SR 309): at the end of the exit ramp turn west (right). • From Columbus:

  Take 33 West to Huntsville exit SR 117. Take 117 into Lima. At the 117 and 309 intersection turn left. Get in the right hand lane, Bellefontaine Ave (SR. 309) Follow this for approxiamtely 2 miles (you will pass Lima Memorial Hospital-on the right-then a set of RR tracks. You will come to a five point intersection. Go straight on Market Ave for about 3/4 of a mile. Turn right on Jackson St, and then right on Spartan Way.

• From Fort Wayne:

  Take 30 East to SR 65 exit. Turn right(south) and go through town to North St (SR 81). Turn left(east) onto North St. You will go approximately 1 mile through an underpass and come to Jackson St. (2nd traffic light) Turn right on Jackson St, and then turn left on Spartan Way.

• From Celina:

  SR 117 eastbound: Follow SR 117 east (will change into Elm St in town) past the YMCA and VFW Post, then turn left onto Union St. (one way). Go to first traffic light and turn right on Market St. Go over RR tracks and turn left at the first traffic light, Jackson St. Then turn right on Spartan Way.

This tournament is a 16 team tournament on four courts.  
We will follow the format for pool play and tournament 
established by the OVR.

Pool Play:  Pool A court 1, Pool B Court 2, Pool C Court 3, Pool D Court 4

Pool play is the best of three sets with rally
scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum
two-point advantage (no scoring cap.) The deciding set, if needed,
will be to 15 points with a minimum two point advantage (no
scoring cap.)  For the first match of the day for each team, 
we will follow the 7-4-4 format.       
All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes
shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving
team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve,
usually one minute.

Teams will officiate according the above schedule for pool play.


Teams 1-8 (pool play winners and 2nd place teams) will go to the
gold playoffs, teams 9-12 (third place place teams) will go to silver
playoffs, and teams 13-16 (fourth place teams) will go to the 
bronze playoffs.  The lowest seeded team in each division not
playing the first round of the playoffs will officiate the first
playoff match. Tournament play will be the best of three sets.
After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before
leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.
Tournament:
Gold Tournament: 1st and 2nd place teams from each pool will play on courts 1 and 2
Silver Tournament: 3rd place teams from each pool will play on court 3
Bronze Tournament: 4th place teams from each pool will play on court 4


Tournament Rules:
No food will be allowed in the gymnasium. No coolers inside the school building
No passing or peppering volleyballs in the hallways.
Chairs will be permitted on Courts 1,2, and 3. There will be limited bleachers available on Courts 1, 3, and 4

Lima Senior will provide a concession stand that will stay open til 4:00 pm
Water, Gatorade, Soda, Pizza, Shredded Chicken Sandwhiches, Nachos, Fruit, and other 
healthy food will be provided.

If Allen County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will
be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice
will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Entry fees
will be refunded as soon as possible.
