From I-80/I-90:
- Take the Ohio Turnpike to exit 59.
- Get off the exit and go South, you will end up on Reynolds Rd.
- Turn left at Dussel Rd (first stop light).
- Turn left at 3-way stop sign to stay on Dussel Rd.
- The road will dead end into the parking lot of the LCRC.
From I-75 South:
- Take I-75 North to exit 192 (I-475 Norht/US 23).
- Travel north towards Maumee/Ann Arbor for ~7.3 miles.
- Take exit 6 (Maumee/Dussel Rd).
- Turn right (East) on Dussel Rd.
- Travel about 3 miles and turn left at 3-way stop sign to stay on Dussel Rd.
- The road will dead end into the parking lot of the LCRC.
From I-475 North:
- Take I-475 to exit 6 (Maumee/Dussel Rd).
- Turn left (East) on Dussel Rd.
- Travel about 3 miles and turn left at 3-way stop sign to stay on Dussel Rd.
- The road will dead end into the parking lot of the LCRC.
Tournament Information
Pools and Play Schedule for Saturday, March 26th is on the Maverick website. www.maverickvolleyball.com Follow the link to the North Coast Power League (NCPL) Play Schedule on Sunday will be determined at the completion of play on Saturday. Team will play a minimum of 2 matches on Sunday and a maximum of 3. The tournament is part of the North Coast Power League and is being sponsored by Maverick/A.C.E, Toledo Volleyball Club, and Columbus Volleyball Academy. To request entry into the event, please contact Mike Sweitzer at michaelswisscheese@gmail.com or call at 330-786-5934. 12 teams per age group will be accepted into the tournament. Preference will be given to clubs who will enter their top team in all age groups. This is a highly competitive league and entry will be selective. You must be able to play both weekends. The playing locations are as follows: February 12-13 13/14 in Columbus; 15/17 in Toledo; 16/18 in Cleveland March 26/27 13/14 in Cleveland; 15/17 in Columbus; 16/18 in Toledo The first three rounds will be a round robin with all 12 teams playing each other. Pool Play will consist of 3 team pools; with an A.M. wave and a P.M. wave. Play will begin at 8 A.M. on each day. On the fourth day, teams will be seeded into challenge matches and then into bracket play. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of 13 matches and a maximum of 14 matches over the 4 days of the league. All matches will have certified USAV officials. There will be a coaches meeting on Saturday, February 12th at 7:30 a.m. There will not be a coaches meeting on the subesequent tournament dates. Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams in each age group. The top team will receive a trophy, t-shirts, and a refund of their entry fee to be used for entry into the AAU or JNC tournaments. The 2nd place team will receive t-shirts. MVP awards voted upon by participating coaches will be awarded on the final day of tournament play. There is no admission charge at any facility and ample free parking. Each playing location has a full concession stand. If the playing site is under a Level 3 Snow Emergency, the event will be cancelled for that date/location only. We will make every attempt to reschedule. If that is not possible, clubs will receive a pro-rated refund. The entry fee is $700.00 per team. Checks are payable to A.C.E.
