Doors Open: 7:30 am (EST)
Coaches' Meeting: 8:30 am (EST)
Tournament Start Time: 9:00 am (EST)

PARKING: Parking is available in our lot, directly in front of the club, also in the two parking lots in front of the
Turnkey Storage and the green warehouse. Please do not park in front of the storefronts in the strip mall immediately
next to our facility. Please do not park in the grass. Cars can be towed from both locations.

Concessions: Available on-site. Outside food and/or coolers are not permitted in the building.

Spectator Seating: Seating is available on each court and limited floor space is available for outside chairs.
Feel free to bring your own chairs. Please note that chairs are NOT permitted on the sport court surface. Please
cooperate with other parent groups. If you will rotate so that the teams on the court are sitting next to the court,
the day will be so much more enjoyable for everyone involved.

For two rounds of 3 team pools, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding
set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage
(no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores 15
points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change sides when a team
earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally,
they score a point and gain the serve.

Match order:
[team in () refs]
Match 1 Match 2 Match 3
1 vs. 3 (2) 2 vs. 3 (1) 1 vs. 2 (3)

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match
percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place and
second place teams from the second round to the Gold playoffs (2 courts.) All third place
teams from the second round to the Silver playoffs (1 court.) Playoff positions on the
tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool
playing each other in the first round.

Seeding procedure:
Round 1:Pool A Pool B Pool C
        Seeds 1, 6, 7 Seeds 2, 5, 8 Seeds 3, 4, 9

Round 2:Pool AA Pool BB Pool CC
        Seeds A1, B2, C3 Seeds B1, C2, A3 Seeds C1, A2, B3

For the first round, teams from the same club, regardless of seed, should not be placed in
the same pool.

Tie-breaking: Since all teams advance to playoffs, ties will not be decided by playing a set.
1. If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head-to-head match determines their
order of finish.
2. If 3 teams from the same pool are tied after match and set % and point differential
have been calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of finish.

Please see the posted court maps in the lobby for your location.

Playoffs: All teams advance. All first-place and second-place teams advance to Gold playoffs. All third-place and
fourth-place teams advance to Silver playoffs. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool
finish so teams from the same pool will not play one another in the first round.

Awards: Presented to Gold Playoff Bracket winner.

Weather Related Cancellations/Delays: If Montgomery County (in Ohio) issues a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament
will be cancelled. If the tournament is cancelled, a notice will be displayed on the SYNERGY website (www.synergyvb.org). Club coaches/directors and assigned officials will be contacted by phone via the phone number
we have on file. Entry fees will be returned within one week of the cancellation.
