This is a for OVR National Division team only event.  The top 18 Regional team(s) will not be invited unless there are openings as of February 1st.   This is NOT a first-come first-served event. The other teams will receive refunds.

Please send a separate check for each OVR tournament that you have teams entered into.  Not a separate check per team, just per event.

USAV requires that a rostered adult must be the R2 for all age divisions at National Qualifying events such as this event.

Accepting or Declining a National Bid: A team may immediately decline a National Bid with no penalty once they have earned it. The National Bid will then trickle down to the next eligible team. Accepting or Declining an American Bid: A team may immediately decline an American Bid with no penalty once they have earned it. The American Bid will then trickle down to the next eligible team.  Accepting or Declining a Freeedom Bid: A team may immediately decline a Freedom Bid with no penalty once they have earned it. The Freedom Bid will then trickle down to the next eligible team.

Checks should be mailed by January 15, 2024. Checks are not deposited until the weekend of the event. If you are entering teams in multiple events, you need to send a separate check per event.

Registration for teams will remain open until February 1st. At that time I will not accept any more registrations unless there is space.

This is NOT a first-come first-served event. The other teams will receive refunds.

This tournament is restricted to Ohio Valley Region teams only. This is a special tournament for OVR 18 National teams. The top two finishers earn a spot in the National Division of the Girls 18s Junior National Championships in Baltimore on April 26-28. The next three finishers will earn spots in the American Division.  The next finisher will earn a spot in the Freedom Division.

This 18s Bid Tournament is only open to teams serious about playing in the USAV Girls 18s JNC. Do not enter this tournament if you are not willing to participate in the USAV Girls 18s JNC. If you earn a spot in the JNC and do not participate, your club may not be allowed to participate in qualifying tournaments the next season.

Grade-level teams are not allowed into this event. Your team must be age appropriate for the division you enter.

There is a State of Ohio law that requires all coaches and administrators of juniors sports teams to have concussion certifications. Here is a link to the NFHS course in Concussion in Sports

SPECTATOR INFORMATION:

SEATING:
Bleachers are located on the west side of the building (in the front of Courts 1 & 2). NO CHAIRS are allowed to be placed in front of these courts. Chairs may be placed on the North, South and East perimeters of the courts. Please place chairs in designated areas (between the black lines surrounding the courts).

CONCESSIONS:
A Concession Stand with a variety of healthy foods is available at the tournament site. NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED. - Individual portions are allowed in a player's bag. Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. (This means NO TEAM BUFFETS - Team buffets will be confiscated if found.)

PARKING:
There is plenty of parking available at the facility. Parking will be free for the weekend. Do not park in the fire lanes and do not park illegally. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events.
