SPECTATOR & COACHES ADMISSION & CHAIR POLICY

Admission is $10/day, and you can either purchase an Admission Wristband the day of the event with cash or credit card at the ticket window, or you can purchase your ticket electronically HERE ahead of time via credit card. Purchases made ahead of time must stop by the ticket window to get a wristband. Anyone 19 or older must have a wristband to enter the playing facility. Anyone 18 or younger gets in free and does not need a wristband.

Coaches can check in on Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 p.m. or anytime during the event at Ticket Window B for your wristband. All teams winning a BID will receive t-shirts for GJNC's. Shirts can be picked up at Ticket Window A prior to leaving on Sunday.

Violations of the rules and regulations will result in disqualification and elimination from the event of the offending teams and/or individuals, including parents. Players are allowed to bring water bottles and snacks in their gym bag. No passing volleyballs in hallways or concessions areas. Warm-up time will be provided on the court before the match. No smoking in gym areas or hallways. There are no shower facilities. Put all trash in containers provided by the Convention Center staff. Online Tournament Roster Verification This tournament is using Online Touranment Roster Verification (available 5 days prior to tournament). Head Coaches must use the Online Tournament Roster Verification. Use the OVR Login > Continue > My Account > My Team(s) Go to Tournament Schedule at the bottom of the team page. Select "Online Tournament Roster Verification" Make sure your roster/certifications are complete, using link on that page. If you need to add a player or coach temporarily for this tournament, print out the Roster for Tournament Check-In and write the additions and submit to Tournament Director / Site Director when you arrive at the tournament. Team and College Coaches pick up wrist bands for free at table near ticket window. Players do not need bands.  They should be under 19 years of age. When you earn a Bid, you will be required to sign an Acceptance Form.  Please review this document proir to attending the Bid Tournament.  Pay attention to the penalty section if you first Accept a Bid and then later Decline the Bid.  The teams are ranked in order of the average of their top four finishes.  NOT their total average.  If they played in more than four tournaments, their lower results are dropped.  You can see their four results average on the Seeding Page. This is a three day event.  Friday, April 12 through Sunday, April 14. Pre-order Subway meals at: Subway_Meal_Deals   This event is restricted of OVR teams only.   USAV requires that a rostered adult must be the R2 for all age divisions at National Qualifying events such as this event.   This tournament uses each team's best 4 finishes. So the ranking numbers you see in the pool displays below are not what was used in the seeding. This was the consensus of the National Club Directors.   This tournament used to allocate the Ohio Valley Region's National, American and Freedom bids to the USAV Girls Junior National Championships to be hosted by Chicago and Minneapolis. Entry into this event is restricted to only OVR registered teams. All OVR teams registered in the National Divisions are eligible to enter.  We will do our best to accept all teams that register by February 29th. But space and court restrictions may force use to a limited number in particular divisions. We will know more after the registration period ends on 2/29/2024.    Seeding for the OVR Bid Tournament will use an average of up to the four best tournament results for each team.  Once the seeding is completed, teams from the same club will be switched out of a pool to avoid playing another team from the same club in the first round of pools.   Since this is a qualifying event for the USAV girls National Championships, we will not be using a 2 meter step-in line for the 12s or 11s divisions.   There is a State of Ohio law that requires all coaches and administrators of juniors sports teams to have concussion certifications.
