Tournament Information



Based on the current Ohio guidelines and guidelines from the Morrow County Health Department regarding venue capacity, MOVA will only be allowing 1 spectator per athlete until further notice. As soon as these restrictions are modified, we will forward that information to our confirmed teams. Directors - please communicate the spectator limit to your parents so there are no surprises on match day. Thanks for your compliance and understanding. Parents will be asked the name of the child they are watching at the front door and then recieve their wriste band that must be worn all day. If you are not wearing a wrist band you will be asked to leave the facility. This is how we will be tracking the number of parents in the gym. 

Additionally, doors will open at 7:00 am to allow more social distancing as teams arrive. We are trying to limit the "mad rush" at opening. We hope your teams and parents find this helpful. 


Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament. Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified. There will be a coaches' meeting at 8:00 AM at the playing site which will take place prior to the start of pool play. Warm-ups are at 8:15 am. The tournament pool play starts at 8:30 AM sharp. Tournament entry fee is due January 15, 2021. Please include the 11-character team code with your entry fee.

Team/Tournament cancellation:

Teams withdrawing are subject to a $100 cancellation fee unless a replacement team is found. A team that withdraws within 30 days of the tournament date will forfeit its entry fee. 

If Morrow County is under a level 3 Snow Emergency, the tournament will be canceled and all entry fees will be refunded. Information will be posted on our website and coaches will receive an e-mail at the time of cancellation. If you have any questions please call me at 614-531-7602.

    10.12 Team withdraws due to Covid 19 restrictions

    Tournament or Site - REQUIRED CANCELLATION
    All team entry fees, in FULL, are required to be returned within 10 days.

    Team Cancellations: When a TEAM must withdraw from an event due to required quarantine/cancellation, the
following policy will be enforced. NO REFUND of event entry fee will be required of the event host. Every effort must be made of the event host to
replace the team withdrawing and refund of entry fee made possible. A PARTIAL REFUND may result from this effort. Many Tournament Directors have made a “reduced entry fee
proposal”to entice a late entry. The difference in cost must be returned to the withdrawn team.

Tournament site info:

The doors of the playing site will open at 7:00 AM. Visiting team camps will be in the designated camping is on the far side of court three. Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. A full concession stand with reasonable prices will be provided at the tournament site.

We have social-distanced balcony viewing and limited space for court three seating with personal camping chairs. No chairs will be permitted on the end lines or between the courts. All chairs must be placed on court three. Until the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, MOVA cannot permit chairs to be set up the evening prior as we have in years past. We are sorry for any inconvenience. 

**NOTE** - MOVA will be in compliance with all OVR and State of Ohio guidelines and best practices as it relates to COVID-19. More specific information will be sent out as the date to this event gets closer. At a minimum, spectators should expect to wear a mask and social distance while attending an event at MOVA. With the ever-changing rules and regulations, MOVA will provide you the most up-to-date information possible in as timely a manner as possible. Our goal is to provide our teams and spectators the most enjoyable and safest experience possible during this uncertain time. Thanks for your patience, understanding and compliance.
