Pools A and B will be in the High School. Pools C and D will be in the Middle School. Both building are on same campus. Gold Bracket will be played at High School, Silver and Bronze will be at Middle School.
Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the Friday before the tournament. Please make sure your coach is IMPACT certified. There will be a coaches' meeting at 8:00 AM at the playing site which will take place prior to the start of pool play. Warm-ups are at 8:15 am. The tournament pool play starts at 8:30 AM sharp. Tournament entry fee is due JANUARY 15, 2023. Please include the 11-character team code with your entry fee.

Pool pay is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute. T-shirts will be awards to the Gold champions and Gold Runner Ups.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool play.
All teams will be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, we use the OVR tie-breaking procedure. Teams 1-8 (pool play winners and 2nd place teams) go into the Gold playoffs. Teams 9-12 (third place in pool) go into the Silver bracket. Teams 13-16 will go into the Bronze. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round. To avoid third-place teams playing a team from their pool for the first tournament match, a tournament director can choose to switch best third place and second-best third-place teams on the tournament bracket if both teams consent to the change. The lowest-seeded team in each division not playing the first round of the playoffs will officiate the first playoff match. The tournament will be the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.
Teams withdrawing after JANUARY 15, 2023 are responsible for the full entry fee unless a replacement team is found. A team that withdraws within 30 days of the tournament date will forfeit its entry fee.
If Morrow County is under a level 3 Snow Emergency, the tournament will be canceled and all entry fees will be refunded. The doors of the playing site will open at 7:00 AM. Visiting team camps will be in the designated hallway. Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. A full concession stand with reasonable prices will be provided at the tournament site.
We have bleacher seating. No outside chairs.
