OVR Website Tournament Information:
2020-21 Teams may enter Massillon Recreation Center tournaments by sending an entry fee ($225), team ID#, and team contact name, phone, e-mail address and address and the coach’s name. Enclose a check for $225 made payable to City of Massillon.

Thank you for your interest in our tournaments. Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament.
Doors of Recreation Center opens at 8am. Please enter via the South Doors of the Recreation Center. Signs will be posted.
Please ensure your coach(s) are IMPACT, Concussion & Safesport certified.
A coaches’ meeting will be at 8:30 AM in the front lobby and will take place prior to the start of the tournament. Coaches must attend to verify & sign their roster.
Spectators and Participants:
Limited to TWO spectators per participant [ATHLETE/COACH]. Everyone will need to check in upon arrival. Should you have any High-Risk Factors such as Auto immune Diseases, Diabetes, etc., we ask that you not attend for your health well-being.
We will allow a parent/guardian to switch from Noon to 1pm Only, provided both individuals meet at the check-in table together-NO Exceptions. The coach will need to note on spectator tracing list.

No other spectators will be permitted.
All should do a health self-assessment and not attend or participate if ANY SYMPTOMS of COVID19 are present:

If you have had close contact with anyone testing positive for COVID-19, please adhere to the recommended State and local guidelines for quarantine.
Upon Arrival and check-in, Enter at the SOUTH end of the building, [PLEASE DO NOT ENTER AT THE FRONT DOORS, East side] the spectator attending will need to sign in and give a phone number or email address at the table inside the South doors. Wrist bands will be issued at check-in. The tournament starts promptly at 9:00 A.M. sharp. Please check www.OVR.org Website for Pools & Officiating Responsibilities. We will provide volleyballs, no need to bring any.
Social distancing and face coverings are REQUIRED by all. Players and coaches are required to wear face coverings on the sidelines during matches. Currently only TWO spectator per player will be permitted within the facility. A Contact Tracing form will need to be completed and submitted by each team for the tournament [prior to tournament day].
Designated camping areas will be provided. Please clean your camp site up prior to leaving. No teams will be allowed to camp out in the hallways or gymnasium during the tournament. The use of any ball outside of the gymnasium is NOT permitted while inside the building. Keep all coolers in cars. NO outside Food or Coolers will be permitted within the facility. Concessions will be provided at the tournament site.
We ask our guests to maintain a counterclockwise flow entering and exiting of gymnasium. Enter via the East gymnasium doors and exiting the South gymnasium doors. Seating for spectators will be provided in the gymnasium. NO food or personal chairs are permitted in the gymnasium. Only those teams currently playing in a match are permitted on the gymnasium floor. Each team will clean up the sidelines after their match. We ask our teams and family members to cooperate with the Recreation Center staff when disinfecting the venue between matches.
A team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling prior to the entry deadline does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found at cost or discounted price. A team canceling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee in its entirety.
REQUIRED CANCELLATION/Team withdraws due to COVID19 restrictions or in climate weather: All team entry fees, in FULL, are required to be returned in a timely manner.
When a TEAM must withdraw from an event due to required quarantine/cancellation, the following policy will be enforced. As tournament hosts, we will make every effort to replace the team withdrawing and refund of entry fee will be made possible. A PARTIAL REFUND may result from this effort. As Tournament Directors, if needed we will offer a “reduced entry fee proposal” to entice a late entry. The difference in cost must be returned to the withdrawn team.
When a TEAM must withdraw from an event due to in climate weather or unforeseen complications, i.e., power outage, safety situation, etc.: If Stark County is under a Level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be canceled. For any reason, the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible. Entry fees will be returned within a timely manner after a cancellation.
