We will have a shuttel running from the hotel to our facility for 2 hours in the morning and in the evening!
We are minutes from a BEAUTIFUL small Down Town WIlloughby area with plenty of great restaurants and things to do!

Payments are due in full to secure your spot. Cancellation with in 30 days of the tournament will result in a loss of payment unless the spot is otherwise filled. Please mail checks to the address located above.

Start Times:
DAY ONE & TWO
Doors will open at 7:00am for both teams and spectators. Coaches meeting will take place at 7:30am on Court 1. Play will begin at 8:00am.
FACILITY INFORMATION
Seating:
All courts will have a couple bleacher sets as well as limited spacing for personal camping chairs. Space as always is first come first serve for these spaces. Please be respectful of others while choosing your spot. Our head official will have final say of areas you are not allowed to be seated. Our facility is NOT currently wheel chair accessible. There will be a LARGE camping area for all teams and players on our Turf field.
Concessions:
We have a full service concession area with drink and food options. Personal bottles and small snacks are allowed. Coolers and full team meals are not permitted. Our full concession menu will be emailed out the week of the tournament to coaches and directors to pass along.
TOURNAMENT PROCEDURES
Warm Ups:
Only registered USAV members with a “clear” USAV background screen may be in the playing area to assist with warm-ups. Such individuals must also be listed on that team’s roster. Prior to each team’s first match of the day, Juniors boys’/girls’ mandatory warm-ups are to consist of 15 minutes (7 minutes sPool play format: 6 courts, 8 referees each day, 24 teams, 93 matches 6 pools of 4 teams For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, they score a point and gain the serve.

For the first round, teams from the same club, regardless of seed, should not be placed in the same pool.
Tournament format:
All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first place teams and second place teams in Pools AA, BB, CC and DD will play in the Gold tournament. All third place and fourth place teams in Pools AA, BB, CC, DD will play in the Silver tournament. The teams in Pools EE and FF will play in the Bronze tournament. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish. Awards to first, second and both third places in Gold Division.

Tie-breaking:
Since all teams advance to playoffs, ties will not be decided by playing a set. 1. If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head to head match determines their order of finish. 2. If 3 teams from the same pool are tied after match and set % and point differential have been calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of finish. For the third place teams after Round 1: 3. If 2 teams from different pools are tied after match and game % and point differential have been calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of seeding. 4. If 3 or more teams from different pools are tied after match and game % and point differential have been calculated, a coin flip will determine their order of seeding.hared, no hitting across net), 4 minutes serving team, 4 minutes receiving team. After each team’s first match, the mandatory warm-up time between all matches is will be 10 minutes, consisting of 2 minutes of shared ball handling on-court, 4 minutes full-court for the serving team, and 4 minutes full-court for the receiving team.
Playoffs and Prizes:
Prizes to First and Second Place in the Gold Bracket and First Place for Silver and Bronze Brackets.
Sportsmanship:
The Ohio Valley Region promotes a high standard of sporting conduct (“sportsmanship”) among its athletes, coaches, referees, and spectators and expects the USAV Spectator/Parent Code of Conduct to be followed, as outlined in the USAV Rules Book and any other publications. Tournament directors are expected to support officials, coaches, players, and other tournament personnel during an event. Taunting, offensive cheers or gestures, profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating words or actions directed at officials, athletes, coaches, or team representatives will not be tolerated. Any unsporting actions, including but not limited to those mentioned above, will result in an Incident Report being filed with the OVR and a warning being issued by the OVR Commissioner. Subsequent unsporting behavior by the same individual or team at the same event will result in removal from the competition site. A pattern of unsporting behavior will result in $250 fine/sanction to the associated club or team.
