Teams that have been accepted to this tournament should send an entry fee ($225), team 11 digit ID#, and team contact name and address by December 31, 2021.

Thank you for your interest in our tournament. Team rosters will be downloaded from the OVR website the week of the tournament. Please make sure your coach is IMPACT, SafeSport, and Concussion certified. Coaches who do have completed certifications will not be allowed to coach per OVR Rules.
Doors open at 8:00AM.
A coaches' meeting at 8:30 AM at the playing site will take place prior to the start of the tournament.
The tournament starts at 9:00 AM Sharp.
Parking is in the lot on the southwest side of the building off Electric Ave. Enter through the Athletics door.
Pool play is the best of three sets with rally scoring. Each non-deciding set will be to 25 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). The deciding set, if needed, will be to 15 points with a minimum two-point advantage (no scoring cap). All warm-ups will use the 2-4-4 format; 2-minutes shared court, 4-minutes Serving Team, 4-minutes Serve Receiving team. Teams may request the referee to tell them when to serve, usually one minute. Tee Shirts will be awarded for Gold Division Winners.

Teams will officiate according to the above schedule for pool play. Teams finishing 1st, 2nd, and the top 2 3rd place in pool play (pool play winners, 2nd place teams) go to the Gold Bracket in the Main gym, and teams 3rd best 3rd place and 4th place in pool play go to the silver bracket in the Aux. gym.
Bracket play will be the best of three sets. After the first round of the playoffs, all losing teams, before leaving, must stay and officiate the next match.
Please note, the doors of the playing site will not be unlocked until 8:00 AM. Team camps will be permitted in the assigned spots. No teams will be allowed to camp outside of these designated areas.
Coolers and food: Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers (including Soft-sided) are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. Tournament directors and site managers do not have the discretion to grant permission. Tournament directors can permit teams to bring food into a designated area of the tournament facility. Some facilities do not permit outside food to be brought in to a tournament site. This is also allowed and will be enforced. If a club does not comply amicably with a tournament director's or site director's request, an Incident Report will be sent to Bob Price, OVR Commissioner, resulting in up to a $250 fine and a team/club suspension.
A full concession with reasonable prices will be provided at the tournament site.
Bleacher seating is provided in the Main Gym (courts 1 & 2), however, seating is not provided in the Aux Gym (court 3). Please bring your own folding chair.
ABSOLUTELY, NO playing with balls in common areas such as cafeteria, hallways, etc. Ball handling only on the courts.
If a pool play match is being played, no balls on adjacent court if pool play on that court is finished.
Team/Tournament cancellation: A team canceling after the entry deadline, 14 days prior to the tournament date, will forfeit its entry fee. A team canceling does not forfeit its full entry fee if a replacement is found. A team cancelling from this tournament to enter a different tournament will forfeit its entry fee. If Licking County is under a level 3 Emergency, the tournament will be canceled. For any reason the tournament is canceled, a notice will be displayed at the OVR Junior Tournament list. Club directors and/or coaches and officials will be contacted (phone, email) as soon as possible.
