THIS WILL BE A SINGLE DIVISION EVENT BEGINNING AT 9AM!!! To register, email each player's name and OVR # to sandboxvb@gmail.com If you have registered and cannot make the event, please notify The SandBox as soon as possible. If you owe for the entry fee ($60), payment may be brought to the event. Checks should be made payable to "SandBox Volleyball, LLC." The facility will open at 8:15am. All players are to arrive by no later than 8:40 am for registration. When both players from a team have arrived, they must check in at the tournament table. Pool play will begin PROMPTLY at 9am. Playoffs should begin at about 1pm or so. The event will feature pool play, followed by playoff brackets. There will be four, 6 team pools. Each pool will have 1 or 2 18U teams and about 4-5 16U teams. Each team will play 5 pool play games. Each game to 15 points, win by 2 with cap at 17. The top 2 teams from pool will advance to an 8-team gold playoff bracket. The 3rd place team from each pool will advance to silver; 4th to bronze; 5th to copper; and 6th to tin. All teams will play 5 pool play games and at least one playoff game. Playoff matches will be one game to 21 points (gold) or 1 game to 15 points (silver - tin); win by 2, no cap. All teams must arrive and check-in before the tourney starts, regardless of when each plays its first match. Any team not checking in (with BOTH players) prior to 8:45 am will forfeit its spot in the tournament. Facility Rules No coolers or outside drinks other than water may be brought into the facility. Any individual who fails to follow this rule will be ejected from the facility and banned from all other SandBox events for the remainder of 2018. The facility does not serve food, however, there is a Jimmy Johns nearby that delivers VERY quickly. There is also East of Chicago pizza. There is also a Giant Eagle, Heinen's, McDonald's, and Chipotle. No SandBox player or spectator is permitted in the pool or on the pool deck, unless they first receive express permission from pool staff. Pets are permitted at the facility, but must be kept on a leash. Small children must be attended at all times while at the facility, for their own safety and the safety of the competitors.
