|  |  | | OVR Presents Four Members With 2008 Achievement AwardsThe Board of the Ohio Valley Region is pleased to announce that four members have been nominated and selected for achievement awards for 2008. The OVR Commissioner's Award was presented to Margie Belman, Administrator, Northcoast Volleyball. Margie was nominated for her tireless efforts on behalf of boys' volleyball. Three OVR Awards of Excellence were presented. Jerry Malicki received the award for Tournament Directors for his efforts in Southwest Ohio in developing and directing the growth of Adults' Tournaments. Robert MacFarland received the award for Coaching. Mac has been an instrumental force in juniors in Northeast Ohio. He is presently the Coaching Director for Cleveland Renaissance. Jennifer Lauber received the award for Club Directors. Jen started Club Crush 11 years ago and it remains a club whose single purpose is athlete development at a reasonable cost. Jen has also remained dedicated to self improvement in coaching, attending numerous coaching clinics.
