*THE TICKETING SYSTEM ONLY ALLOWS 11 TICKETS TO BE PURCHASED. TEAMS WILL DECIDE HOW THESE TICKETS ARE ALLOCATED.

Admission (per day):

$1 for guests 10 and Under

$8 for guests 11 and Older

 

Waves for Age Groups 

We will be hosting 2 waves for the tournament. An AM session 7:50am -2pm and a PM session 2:30pm-8:30pm. 

Waves for Saturday February 20th (Regional)
Morning Wave: Ages- 13’s and 14’s
Afternoon Wave: Ages- 12’s, 15’s, 16’s

Waves for Sunday February 21st (American)
Morning Wave: Ages- 13’s, 14’s, 15’s
Afternoon Wave: Ages- 16’s, 17’s

 

2 SEPARATE ENTRANCES

CPSC will be divided into 2 distinctly different entrances/playing areas.   You must enter and stay in your designated areas throughout the competition.  ALL of your matches will be played in your team's designated area.   

2 Areas:

 

TRACKSIDE (Front of Building and Utilize Front Parking Lot)

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

Camping Area: Mezzanine Level ONLY

 

BAYSIDE (Back of the Building and Utilize Back Parking Lot)

Back of the building court #'s (signs on digital board, bayside entrance) 

11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20

Camping Area: Mezzanine Level ONLY

Guests and players must always remain on their side of the split venue. Each side of the venue has restrooms, food and beverage for sale, and merchandise for sale. Guests also will not be permitted to enter through the opposite side of the building. Because of Covid restrictions, they must enter through the designated areas.

Coaches Check In: 

Coaches when checking in: We will have your roster printed. Coaches (max of 2) will receive their wristband if written on the roster. The Covid Coordinator must be listed on the roster to receive their wristband.

 

 

TOURNAMENT FORMAT 

 

Warm-Up Procedures:

Both teams will share the court for 2 minutes (keep balls on their own side).

 

Each team will get the entire court for 3 minutes. Serving must be a part of

each team’s own court time.

 

Pool Play

1 hour time allotment, 8 minutes for warm up, 52 minutes of play

Best of 2 matches to 25 points each.

If they split 1-1 after the time has run out: aggregate score will decide the winner.

If they do not finish the 2nd set and time has expired,  the aggregate score will decide the winner.

*No timeouts allowed in the last 2 minutes of play

Game needs to end 10 mins prior to the next game. ( Example, 2pm game needs to end at 2:50pm)

 

Bracket Play

1 hour time allotment, 8 minutes for warm up, 52 minutes of play

Best of 3 matches: 21-21-11

If they split 1-1 after the time has run out: aggregate score will decide the winner.

If they do not finish the 2nd or 3rd set after time has expired, the aggregate score will decide the winner.

*No timeouts allowed in the last 2 minutes of play

 

Pool Tie Breaker:

If 2 teams from the same pool are tied, their head to head match determines their order of finish. The tie breaker only goes to the next tie breaker if the two teams are still tied   

 

1.) Head to Head (2 team tie breaker)

2.)  Set Winning Percentage

3.)  Total Points Scored  (Highest Total Points is 1st.  2nd Highest Total Points is 2nd)

4.)  Total Points Given Up (Least Amount Of Points Allowed is 1st.  2nd Least Amount of Points Allowed is 2nd)

5.)  Coin Flip

 

If 3 teams from the same pool are tied, the list below determines their order of finish. The tie breaker only goes to the next tie breaker if the tie still exists.

Parking:

Free parking is available at the facility. Please regard facility signage.

Additionally, do not park in the fire lanes under any circumstances and do not park illegally and block someone in. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
