SPECTATOR INFO $2 FEE

SPECTATOR ENTER TIME : 8:00

1) We are allowing ONE spectator per player with a MAXIMUM of 10 spectators per team (NO spectators for coaches)

2) Wristbands will be issued at check-in to the Covid Coordinator for their team’s spectators. If a spectator is found without a wristband they will be asked to leave the building.

3) Wristbands MUST be VISIBLE when re-entering the gym and while in the gym; wristbands CANNOT be exchanged with other parents/spectators.

4) ONLY spectators of the TWO PLAYING teams on each court will be permitted in the gym.  Spectators will enter through the RIGHT side doors. other spectators MUST go to the cafeteria and sit in their designated team area or exit the building.

5) Spectators will be able to sit on bleachers.  NO outside chairs will be permitted. 

6) Once a match ends, spectators MUST leave the gym area.  Spectators will exit out the LEFT side doors of the gym. (unless their team is playing a “back-to-back” match)...

7) ALL spectators MUST PROPERLY WEAR A FACEMASK (covering both mouth AND nose) at ALL TIMES while in the gym area – no exceptions and no exemptions will be permitted

8) Spectators MAY NOT bring any food or drink into the gym area – no exceptions

 

TEAM INFO

TEAM CHECK-IN TIME : 7:30

1) No more than 12 ROSTERED INDIVIDUALS will be permitted entry per team, this includes the Covid Coordinator.   ** if your roster includes more than 12 individuals, please contact me.

2) Teams (Coaches, Covid Coordinator, and Players) must CHECK-IN to gain entry to the tournament... coaches will be issued wristbands at check-in... TEAM check-in will occur BEFORE spectators are permitted to enter the building... COACHES: please gather your team together and then bring your ENTIRE TEAM into the gym, court 1/2 area together and check-in.

3) All rostered individuals must remain on the bench (or court) during play. Once the match is over players and coaches MUST go to the cafeteria and sit in their designated team area or exit the building.

4) We will have designated team area in the cafeteria.  Teams MUST sit together in these areas while waiting on their next match or work team assignment. Teams CANNOT bring blankets, pillows and/or “team camp” items into the gym or cafeteria. 

5) When on the bench all coaches, rostered staff, and players MUST PROPERLY WEAR A FACEMASK – ONLY players who are ON the court, IN play are exempt from wearing a mask.

6) We will follow OVR covid protocols for officiating assignments.  ONLY 4 players and 1 coach will be needed per set.

7) All R2s should be using a hand-held, electronic whistle.

8) We will NOT be providing warm-up balls or ball carts for use during warm-ups; please bring your own balls/carts

9) A quick coaches meeting will be held on court 3 @ 8:00.

10) Play will begin at 8:30

COVID COORDINATOR INFO

1) Each team MUST have a Covid Coordinator. Can be a Parent Volenteer.

2) Coordinator must be listed on the team roster at check-in. They must be with the team at check-in.  

3) Coordinator will be responsible for passing out spectator wristbands. 

4) Coordinator will fill out the covid contact tracing form and returning it to the Tournament Director.

5) Coordinator will be responsible for helping maintain spectator and team compliance with WEARING A FACEMASK.

Playoffs: All teams advance. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish.

 

Awards: Presented to Gold Playoff Bracket winner.
