4 pools of 4 teams For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change sides when a team earns 8 points. A point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, they score a point and gain the serve.

Teams from the same club, regardless of seed, should not be placed in the same pool.

Tournament format: All teams advance. All teams must be ranked within their pools based on match percentage first. For any ties, use the tie-breaking procedure below. All first-place and second-place teams to the Gold playoffs. All third-place teams to the Silver playoffs. All fourth-place teams to the Bronze playoffs. Playoff positions on the tournament brackets will be based on pool finish to avoid teams from the same pool playing each other in the first round.

COVID PROTOCOLS: 

All participants and attendees must recognize that there is an inherent risk for COVID-19 exposure in any public setting.  If you are concerned with risk for exposure, you may choose to not participate in this event.  If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms prior to your arrival, PLEASE STAY HOME.  If you experience any of these symptoms during the event, PLEASE STAY IN YOUR HOTEL ROOM OR AT HOME.  If any of these symptoms occur during competition, PLEASE DEPART the competition hall is timely as possible.  If you have had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please adhere to recommended guidelines for quarantining.

Facility Information:

The doors of the playing site will open at 7:40 AM. There will be NO team camps. Coaches meeting at 8:00 am on court 1(wood court). Spectators for the first matches will be permitted to enter begining at 8:00 and for the second match teams at 9:00am .There will be a room designated for player belongings, adjacent to playing area. Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. A concession stand with reasonable prices will be provide.

We have bleacher seating available , and room for social distancing. Chairs are permitted and  encourage social-distanced placement, especially from opposing teams. We ask that when your team is not participating in a match chairs are moved from front row spectating area and spectators utilize the outdoors to aliviate spectator congestion around the play areas. Masks are required for EVERYONE NO EXCEPTIONS. Athletes who are participating as part of the line up in a match are permitted to remove them to play.
