Pool Format:  7 total teams entered, 2 pools , 1 pool of 4, 1 pool of 3.

Tournament Format:

For pools of 3 teams, the best of 5 sets will win matches. For pools of 4 teams, the best of 3 sets will win matches. Each non-deciding set will be won by the team that first scores 25 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). If there is a deciding set, it will be won by the team that first scores 15 points with a minimum 2-point advantage (no scoring cap). Change sides when a team earns 8 points. Point will be scored on each rally. If the receiving team wins the rally, they score a point and gain the serve.

 

 

 

Facility Information:

The doors of the playing site will open at 7:45 AM. There will be NO team camps. Coaches meeting at 8:00am on court 1(wood court). Spectators for the first matches will be permitted to enter begining at 8:00 and for the second match teams at 8:30am .There will be a room designated for player belongings, adjacent to playing area. Keep all coolers in cars. Coolers are prohibited in and outside facilities hosting OVR-sanctioned events. Setting up tables and/or cooking by teams or their support staff, fans, coaches, or parents are prohibited at OVR-sanctioned events. A concession stand with reasonable prices will be provide.

We have bleacher seating available , and room for social distancing. Chairs are permitted and  encourage social-distanced placement, especially from opposing teams. We ask that when your team is not participating in a match chairs are moved from front row spectating area and spectators utilize the outdoors to aliviate spectator congestion around the play areas. Masks are required for EVERYONE NO EXCEPTIONS. Athletes who are participating as part of the line up in a match are permitted to remove them to play.

 

2 spectators per athlete maximum 20 per team. This does not include 2 coaches and 1 COVID COORDINATOR.
